[PUZZLE - SOLVED] Irresistiblement

So here's some info about this song that I've already posted here

And I also found the lyrics with a translation...

Irresistiblement

By Wildside
Romaji Lyrics
English Translation

Tout m'entraîne
Irrésistiblement vers toi, comme le vent
Tout m'enchaîne
Irrésistiblement à toi, je le sens

Everything carries me
Irresistibly to you, like the wind
Everything connects me
Irresistibly to you, I feel it

Comme la mer qui frappé le rocher
Obstinément sans jamais désarmer
Par le malheur on est souvent frappé
Mais l'amour seul peut nous sauver

Like the sea hitting the rocks
Obstinately without ever ceasing
By misfortune we are always hitting
But love alone can save us

Tout m'entraîne
Irrésistiblement vers toi, à chaque instant
Tout m'enchaîne
Irrésistiblement à toi, je le sens

Everything carries me
Irresistibly to you, in that instant
Everything connects me
Irresistibly to you, I feel it

Just to add that the clue for this song is:

Quote:

Ha, you can't see the true message because of the camouflage!

(Found by opening the mp3 in notepad)

Any takers? I've tried using the steg program Camouflage, but can't think of a good passphrase. Could be that's the wrong route to go down. How else could the message be "camouflaged"?

Current spec is that the "true message" will probably lead us to another command word.

I tried "camouflage" as a command word, (and the password in Camouflage) and that didn't work.

After the comment about camouflage is the text...
"GamePRIV PeakValue PRIV AverageLevel TPE1"

I'm not sure if this would normally be part of the file or not... Does anybody have the soundtrack to DDR Ultra 8th Mix? Razz

I think I'm going to put the DDR step charts down... Though the idea of knowing the BPM of a given song does seem like a good thing to know...

Maybe not.

Partial solve (I think).

I started thinking about camouflage, and looked at the cell list.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One of them is named Mirage. Enter "mirage" at the command prompt and you get a page:

Confused yet? You should be. Now, what did you learn from the quiz?

And a link to illusion.key, but its a 404.

I just had a thought, that that definitely makes sense to be the solve for this part..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Belle & Camouflage (from CC32 in chat) = Beautiful disguise... that's exactly what a mirage is!

Just had to share that with you... it's probably obvious Smile

Um.... okay, I just went to that page again and it has changed:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Instead of linking to illusion.key on Emily's site it now links to
http://home.comcast.net/~projectgateway/illusion.htm with the text "There's a Good Boy"

Question

This page is also not found though.... well not right now.. they seem to be changing this right in front of our eyes..

Yes! It's a normal 404, not the comcast one so I got suspicious and found this in the source of the 404:

Code:

///----------------------\
//|                       |
//|  I am illusion        |
//|  I am your greatest   |\_______________________________
//|  set of fears.        |                                \
//|  Use me, and you      |                                 \
//|  shall unlock         |________________________________ /
//|  eternal horror.      | ____    _       __   ___      _/
//|                       |/    \  / \     /  \_/   \    /
//|                       |      \/   \   /          \  /
//|     Gate#3213         |            \_/            \/
//\-----------------------

Submitting....

Damn, got it before I did. Wink

Always check the source! I noticed it was a different 404 too.
