They are lottery numbers...They equal 108 just like in lost.....they also gave us those numbers outside of the episodes sort of like lost had numbers to call and fake commercials and websites to go with the show.

It actually wouldn't be the first LOST reference in this episode. Did anyone else notice the two crabs at the beginning? Mr. Nigel is wearing a BLACK hat and Mr. Gibson is wearing a WHITE hat. They are shown in the morning on a beach...just as Jacob and MIB are first shown in Season 5 of LOST.

"Zone" is a strange word to use in this context. Are there bus fare zones or something there? Any other particular zones?

only zone i can think of is for metronorth and lirr, neither of which are strictly nyc

a zone? or maybe a ward...one of the 5 wards on Staten Island? There is one that fits into all of the fray.

as stated by others i also think the episodes are out of order with the newest (6th) episode really being the 5th and the 4th(black tom) comes somewhere after i believe 7th which means the last two videos will not be in order and they will bridge huge gaps in everyone maps.

this video is my favorite so far but i do believe it has the least amount of clues and has brought me pretty far off course if im to believe every clue to mean what i think it does.

i also called that number those numbers have me more confused than b4
i was thinkin they were just alphabet which is TQPNULH which means nothin to me

the one problem I do have is how am i not going to get arrested digging. i went thursday as promised to two sites where i believed the gold was and was asked to leave one by a nypd officer on a bike and told not to even start digging at the other by a parks dept worker saying i could get fines if i mess up grass and or trees, bushes. after this i may be swayed in the other direction as to the gold being in a locker or some type of shelter.

it will be very interesting to see how it ends
they may find a device that elegantly takes many clues out of running

By way of a hypothetical example. Take my hypothesis of Belvedere Castle discussed above. I could busy myself with the swarm of numbers that they throw at us -- only to find that they point to the fact that the ghastly ghoul Count Von Count of Sesame Street lives in Belvedere Castle.

Interpeting clues is a different enterprise when it is unfolding and the source of clues can manipulate it however he likes. It is not the same as interpreting historical evidence or intelligence analysis or a murder investigation involving historical facts.

The only thing that we can have confidence in is that these folks are very talented and inventive -- and demonstrate high production standards.

and star wars

Not sure if anyone mentioned this before, but the first thing I thought of when I saw the serpent and the reference to star wars was the scene in the garbage masher, where the heroes of the movie are attacked by a serpent-like creature.

I looked it up, and the number of the particular garbage disposal room was 326827.
