Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Programmer's Journal, May 22nd, 2004

I've been programming out of my wits end. I have no time to stop, or my captors find some way to torment me more. But every now and then I finally get a small breather from them... at least they realize that I'm not a machine and that I need my breaks.

Usually in these spare times I log online and play some card games, because I've always been a fan of card games. At least they give me hi-speed internet access too. Then again, I told them that it was necessary for my programming, so I could communicate with the other scientists that they had working on Project Gateway.

So, anyway, I logged into play a couple games, and I ran into one of my old friends and I was so extatic that I just wanted to scream "YAHOOOOOOO!!!!". I sat down with him in the ever popular Texas ----'-- on Social Room 6 and he prepared to rob me of my chips again. But, I had no intention of playing today.

"Holy_Brendan32! It's me, Steve!" I exclaimed over the chat. "I've been kidnapped!"

"Wha? for the love of the elements what happened?" he asked back.

"It's a long story, but could you get your friends on my tail and try to save me?"

"i'll call the section rigth away," he replied, but then I saw LaVie and Vargus coming down the hall.

"Dude, I got to go, when can I meet you again?"

"I'm always on here from 7pm-8pm pst on mon..."

And that's when I went back to work, making sure that LaVie and Vargus had no clue what I just did.

Ah no limit hold'em... The Cadillac of poker, a minute to learn and a lifetime to master...

I think Steve is going to have a bit of a problem considering his poker playing friend's name and the nature of the key we just sent in...

Exact

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I figured I would just put this for completeness. Yahoo games offers "Hold'Em Poker", in which there is the option of joining Social Lounge 6, there are several tables so I'm going to assume the chat is going to take place in the main chat area. So 7PM on Monday, Hold'Em Poker, Social Lounge 6. I hope to see you guys there. Don't forget Emily's chat tomorrow night either. =)

Okay, I just checked to make sure that my Yahoo account hasn't rotted away (it hasn't,) but I did find out that those rooms CAN be full. Whoever is able to actually get into those rooms, be extra sure to get that log. Of course, being the newbie I am, I'm sure this is like telling Michael Jordan to dribble the ball.

I will try to be in the room tonight, though, under the name "Masticorerox."
