What number was that Fiske Cahill card?

I also had a weird thought. The Cahills had their own little island where a helicopter could only find a place to land on one smallish part of the island. In the picture that shows the original lab burning down the ones who caused it are seen riding away on horseback. My thought was - why are there horses on such a small island? They brought them across the water just so they could ride away after they did what they did?

It seems a very odd thing to show in the picture.

Had words like
Hope (circled)
Art (underlined)
Family (underlined)
Wolf head (circled and starred)
X (circled) in Providence, RI where Fiske went to school.
Attleboro, Mass (circled)
Dead (double underlined)
Cahill (starred)
14 (as in Volume 14) underlined
7 (as in Number 7) underlined
Thursday (triple underlined)

Queen of Hearts and Ace of Spades also on the corkboard.

It almost looks like a puzzle
I noticed a mistake - one article says "Fiske Cahill, son of Grace Cahill is..." They were brother - sister.

Thank you for writing this out.
The ace of spades means death. That's what it symbolizes.

Queen of Hearts may equal lies/fake (Fake death?)

Art/hope Family may be: Arthur/Hope Cahill Family?

The wolf with the star (asterick?) might mean Pseudo- Janus.

Thanks. Sorry, I don't have the codes for cards 443-447.

Also, I just remembered something. In one of the webchats, one of the authors said Nellie would have to choose between her employers and Amy and Dan. She hasn't done that yet...

I thought that's what she did in book 9.

I thought that's what she did in book 9.
But Fiske didn't exactly employ her. And she didn't really make the biggest choice in the world.

Why does it have to be such a big choice? I think it was simply the point in book 9 when she chose to stand along side Amy and Dan while Fiske explained everything and gave them their task.

And the man in black was her employer - that's why she was in contact with him. She even called him up so they could get that helicopter ride to the top of mount Everest.

Yes, and she chose Amy and Dan - she was only told after her choice that she could have both.

Ok. Can't argue with that.
