Yeah... man overboard, buddy. I'm throwing you a lifeline.

Ease off the crazy clutch, bro Smile

I assume if you saw for a moment that Crother's arm was missing in Episode 3, that it was in error. They DID NOT make it a point to show you his arm was missing by making him gesture, or showing that he had replaced it with a "peg-arm".

He did have the peg arm and missing hat. What it was was a quick scene from the later video, episode 6 at 4:29, inserted as part of the intro to the Larry King, along with scenes from the first video and a bunch of shots of the treasure. There is also a scene, at 00:27, that is like the first video in that Crothers has his hat and all his parts except the eye. They are seated at the table in the cabin, except Mulligan is standing, with the Captain in the left foreground, then Mulligan, then Tom, and Crothers in the right foreground, the lit lamp above their heads. However, this scene does not actually appear in the first video, I'm pretty sure.

I was wondering what would happen to the clues if we put those 4 episodes in the order of The Larry King intro? Does that make sense? I think my brain is leaking... Confused

I think that is a good idea, but they aren't all represented. I don't see anything from episode 2, 4, or 5, and where would 3 itself go? But maybe the extra scene is actually going to be in 7 or 8.

I think it is likely that either 7 or 8 or both will come before others, as we think episode 4 came later than its number. Thus I am not working too hard yet to connect the end of episode 3 to the beginning of episode 5, for example, though they may connect. At any rate, episode 5 seems to be still on the subway, and episode 6 seems to refer explicitly to leaving the subway.

My brain sympathizes with yours. I am getting overloaded with the multiplying possibilities.

IMHO

I have been thinking that the clues might go clockwise, but again, I can't be sure until Ep. 9 comes out.

Pin

About the pin holding Crothers arm on in episode 5 before the amputation: I was trying to see if it was visible in the earlier videos. In episode 1, he has sleeves. In episode 2, there isn't very much time after the sleeves were cut off when he is in a shot, and he is waving his arms around so it is hard to tell, but I think it is not there. In episode 3 you never see his left arm. In episode 4, it is of course already a peg-arm.

What I have been wondering about are the 3 straps he wore. If one was there to conceal the joint, and by itself looked odd, they might have added two more. I suggested earlier that they might be 3 of the 15 WPPPT championship bracelets he stole. They don't seem to be wristwatches or something like that. Any other ideas?
