It's that old and tragic story. The phone was there, it just wasn't ringing. We're trying again tomorrow.

Even though the phone didn't ring, did you try picking up the receiver anyway, 20-30 seconds past the designated time? I suggest this because pay phones not ringing are a common occurrence here. If you already tried this, I apologize profusely.

Flidget - your stuff belongs in the recipe3.html thread. (where hmrpita will see that they did indeed test the phones).

anyone else find it odd that 6 axons,3 min apart from eachother are all in the same place? it happens 2 times, and i havent see it in any of the other rounds, maybe im just not observent. or maybe the pms are givin us a final chance and will smack us if we dont get the 11 free axons Smile

*edit*

upon discovering that im way to sleep deprived i see that it happens alot of times, with the one in Washington DC going hot in the same spot 10 times.

The GPS coordinates may be the same, but they're on different phones. The PMs wouldn't make it THAT easy.

I have a silly request: Can we not get to 777 before Wednesday?

Didn't think so.

The reason I ask is because I won't be able to get to the 7:43 axon in Rhode Island until Wednesday. Although it is less than a mile from my house, I'll be at a meeting in Concord, MA all day Tuesday. Oh, cruel fate. A Rhode Island axon, and there's a good chance that I won't even be able to enhottenate it. If anyone in RI is planning to go to that axon, PM me and I will give you explicit directions as to where it is.

Anyway, great job everyone. Hang on, because I think this is about to get good.

a combined spreadsheet of axons

Just what you need, another spreadsheet, right? Well, mine combines ALL axons ever in the game, with a notation column for whether they were successfully answered versus merely changed to say "success" after the page was archived. (I have other columns and notes for my own use in the data, but not worth the explanation.) Sort the data in a variety of ways to extract the info you need. (NOTE: the data includes the latest round of preview axons, assumed to be coming in the next update.)

All together now. combo (color coded and autofiltered)*thanks catherwood, comatas, critical comatas, killer3 preview, and overall progress graph. Can you say information overload?!?!

EDIT: 9-21-04 5:40PDT. New spreadsheet with recipe1 info uploaded this morning, check out my latest post and get hunting!

Ugh...

Looks like several of the AZ axons are located at the (*gulp*) Arizona Mills Mall. For those that don't know.... it's big. This won't be pretty.

ok people, it looks like it's the recipe1.html page that the new axons are on. Interesting notes: Some axons are listed as "Seeking" with no GPS locations, and the Sleeping Princess updated her humptydumpty.html page to inlcud the 3rd set of completed audio files.

Oh man, I hope this doesn't mean there'll be more axons for each recipe page. That would be like finding out there's six more weeks of winter...

Hopefully 777 axons will change the rules of the game.
