VelocityPancakes and Capn: Check out the "Logical" topic. I'd love your input.

Velocity: your take on the subway video is how I am thinkning. (not taknig 900 trains and colors...but the clue simply being "its a blue track on subway").

I think most clues are based that way... and everyone is digging wayyyy too deep into things.

I think they will show what Tutty is in the next episode and it is going to be a dead give away to my location. Sad

Baseball references

RED C = Chicago cubs (possibly) Also in episode 5 the "Bear's Brown cola"...."It's Topps" Referring to baseball Cards, and mulligans lucky sandwich may be referring to Lucky's sandwich shop. The spot's name salutes "Lucky" Charlie Weeghman, the man who built what later became Wrigley Field.

C

The man that voiced Howdy Doody died recently. He also coined the word "cowabunga" found at the end of the muppets "Old Man and the C".

Ok... now applying common sense to this ... Wrigley Field is in Chicago...and the treasure is buried in NY.
Do you REALLY think this is a path to follow?

I'm not trying to be negative..but you guys are very smart and creative on this forum, and it would not surprise me if one of you found the treasure. however, I would say you have to not wander off into absurd paths.

The Fellowtraveler poster put pieces together each video, and it made sense as to the path, and locations in NY. Everyone seemed on the same page ... but now it seems like everyone is going off on crazy paths making up obscure clues. When you start to do this...you have to stop and think... "Would the puppeteers REALLY hide this clue in this manner? or "Does this have ANYTHING to do with the possibility of a NY location? and CAN we actually dig or find treasure here?? (ex: you cant go into Yankee stadium for treasure).
Just trying to give a push back in the right direction ..because I think a few of you have the brains to do this.

You are so right!

Common Sense is so on the ball. I think that you are all way off the path. Digging way toooooo deep.

I'd say it's better than possible. Check out ep. 6 (Monkey Business) at about 3:15...

So are you referring to the C-like shape or the performance-enhancing steroids? Wink

Has anyone any ideas what the S and C might be that are on the ends of the Cubbies-logo-like shape? They are definitely letters, whereas the shape might be there just to disguise them a little.

Sorry, I guess I am not making the link as clear as I thought. If (and that is a big IF) there is a baseball link, then I think these "random" baseball clues are all pointing to Ebbets Field. But it may also be that we are to mark all the major/minor league parks (possibly only those which existed concurrent with Ebbets) and "connect the dots" though I don't know if that will make an X or a box, pentagon, trapezoid, triangle...(insert your favorite geometrical shape here)...which will isolate a location that will then match the non-baseball clues (SpyGuy, is this what you had in mind?).

But, as I said, that is a BIG if. BTW, Jackie Robinson's middle name was Roosevelt—named for Teddy...ring a bell?

But I am still good with my few choice locations so far, and I have eliminated some of the logistically not logical ones.

AND I am absolutely on the edge of my seat waiting for the last episode! One good thing I will have as a "legacy" of this hunt is that now I want to read the rest of the Aubrey-Maturin books. Dang...where's that Barnes & Nobel coupon...

Ok...that at least makes sense. But I don't see where the CUBS fit into this? (btw...the Cinncinnati Reds also have a red "c"). I also don't see many other clues pointing to the baseball fields... but there area few possibilities. Now to work off of your idea... we would be talking about the Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, and Giants (the 4 baseball teams that play or have played in NY). The old Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium are gone ...as are the Polo Grounds and Ebbits field. Shea is now a parking lot for the CitField, and Yankee Stadium is a pile of dirt and debris (and you are not allowed to get onto the old ground, it is fenced off).

"C" Snake?

And no one here thinks that the snake at Lenape Park looks just like that "C" you are all talking about when you look at it from Google Maps?

Also? How many of you discovered that you can switch the measurement on Google Maps when using the "distance measuring tool" to Furlongs?

Two C's or Not Two C's

mlssry wrote:
"blood moon" & "sea dark as wine"

Blood is red. A moon can be a cresent moon so it looks like a "C"-so you have a red letter C.

Sea is also "C" - a dark wine is red.....so now you have another red letter "C"

So what has two red C's??

The Blood Moon is a full Moon, not a crescent. So you may have an O on your hands, not a C.

OC - To Orange County we go!
