This forum has gotten to be just as entertaining as the videos.
Laughing Kudos!

Sunday
I think....

I have a feeling that someone will have the treasure by sunday...monday the latest.

My question to you guys is what happens when someone walks up on someone pulling the treasure out of the ground after the suns down? (a fellow hunter or other).

One hopes that the producers have put some thought into that question. But they may not have. It seems to me that the only way to be sure of avoiding conflict is to have the treasure buried on private land with some way of ensuring that only one person or team gets to it. For instance, the clues lead to a phone number that only the first caller gets the final location or something.

If the puzzle is much harder than some people seem to think, it might make it more likely that only one person will solve it much earlier than others, but it would not ensure it. If the puzzle is easy once all the clues are out, or has only a few difficult bits, it is likely multiple people will solve it at nearly the same time. I imagine that could lead to trouble.

Really though, I don't think there is any point worrying about it. I doubt any of us are that close. We should all still be working this for fun and not with the idea that we stand a good chance of cashing in, because we (individually) don't. If at this point one of us really is poised to have a final location that fast, then probably several of us are, and quite likely others who don't even read this board as well. If and when I feel I have solved it, and have a precise location, say within 50 meters, then I will consider the practicalities and percentages of others solving it too, and of getting there, getting it, and getting out.

As for non-hunters, well, an unknown wallet's contents are already enough inducement for some people to get violent. That is just a good reason not to hang around a lot of places in New York after dark. I think hunters are usually the type of folks at least less likely to resort to that. An amicable split is even a possibility for two teams arriving at about the same time. I would suggest that nobody try to dig up a 200-pound chest alone anyway. A team of three or four people with shovels would discourage casual muggers.

They posted on facebook again about no one knowing where it is without watching all 8 videos.

Chairs.

Something is up with the squidskulls on the backs of the chairs.

I can't put my finger on it, but they didn't look like that in Episode 1. They seem to have holes on them now. A weird pattern of holes.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

I know this is off-topic, but I hope everyone here in today's storm area are safe. It was a hell of a ride on the SI Ferry at about 5:30!

It was pretty horrible - got stuck outside in it - and then trains were suspended and had to walk 2 miles home. Tornado had touched down near where I live. Crazy! Mad
