OK, right I've been out of this for a very long time so I'm playing catch up. Bear with me and feel free to shoot me down and trout me.
Right first off I cant find the audio on the desk top. I'm assuming you mean the http://www.scariestthingieversaw.com/ desk top? but before you enter the PDP sim? So I've only just got the sound from this thread.
Move the print all files box, on the desktop is braegen14 and untitled folders. The latest mp3 is in the latter.

Also I do think the print out is telling us we are looking in the wrong place. I know some have said this is breaking the rules, but TBH I'd rather be told were on the wrong track. However I wonder if we are meant to be looking in the real world rather than for another website IE geocache.
Could be, but then it is equally likely that "they" are the reason for the secrecy - We are talking about a film centered around something from Area 51, one would guess that secret services comes as standard, therefore the need to stay off the map. We don't really appear to be on any track at the moment

Finally, has anyone stegged the new print out image? I know most people do without mentioning but thought I'd put it out there!!

blue can This is probably nothing, but some of the capacitors used in power supply lines are shaped like blue cans. The link below is to a website with a series of pictures of the replacement of corroded capacitors in a PDP-8 TU56 DECtape drive. The picture is of a capacitor in a refurbished pinball machine (this one has a line on it). OOG – Paramount painted the outside of one of the Main St. Weirton buildings as an arcade. These ideas are really reaching out there, but...

@xeno...
sorry I think he says blue cam check this like here Blue Super8mm as lots of the earlier models were blue.
I'm note sure if he says Lion on it - could be a JJ ref to clover. I think he might say line on it - refering to the 'infamous' Kodak "blue line" caused by a deep emulsion scratch.
I do think some of the images from the trailer make up the Super8mm film that is in question, especially as we had the STIES link at the end and in the pic josh sent to Mysterio.
I agree with al the other stuff you said too.

I'm liking the idea of this being a secret recording of Josh to show he can be easily found. I was going along with the "blue can" theoryfor a while but camera seems to make more sense. Or, since I am no fisherman so help me out here, could a cam be another name for a fishing reel? A blue one with a fishing line on it? Maybe Josh was in a fishing store looking for some equipment. Mr. Mysterio would easily know where Josh could ask for it reading HLM.

Dude, chill out because you may just be wrong. Best to respect everyone's interpretation right now until later clues.

Just a thought I had:
Has anyone ever thought that these audio clips, and other stuff in the viral, are just a diversion to keep us looking in the right places until the time comes? I just have this gut feeling that both audio clips are all nonsense. I may be wrong, but it's a theory. Hahaha

It has been discussed before... I don't know. It may be. After all, most ARGs don't have time sensitive material. All this STIES and Hook stuff would seem a bit lost if you didn't see the Craigslist listings and hear the answering machine in time. They could be...
