Treasure not found?

don't mind me strategic holes be dug in the ground... i was hoping to connect the ship bow on the west side of the island but there was no way to make it work... let alone the bird kite displayed prominently in a window over the path... but i dug and i found nothin but dirt rock and roots (sorry park people!!)

srk- i'm sure you noticed that the hole couldn't be big enough for the treasure to have been removed... i didn't find it!! (wish i had one of those metal rods though!)

what are the odds that the pirates will jump out upon the treasure finder and surprise them with confetti and balloons? they said, "don't go digging holes all over the city, you will know when you find it."

Directors of "Follow that bird" Jim Henson and Jon Stone have benches in their honor on the literary walk.

It was following Stone's death from Lou Gehrig ("the luckiest man alive")'s disease, a bench on the Literary Walk in Central Park was dedicated to him.

The bench is directly to the right of the bench dedicated to Jim Henson. But it's not like I'm climbing up and doing a riverdance on the plaque.

Or pointing out the two crabs holding up Cleopatra's Needle (found buried in the sand) or pointing to the brown bear statue near the same spot.

I wouldn't want to distract you, SpyGuy, from your digging of holes.

Instead of digging, why aren't you looking for a manila envelope giving instruction on where to call to redeem the treasure? (see Tutty's hammock).

The treasure was there all the time.

FOUND THE TREASURE!!!

Well Gentleman, I found it. I'm in the process of now trying to figure out how to become a member and post pictures of the dig and the chest. I wanted to thank you guys for all your helpful insight. I've been following along this forum the whole way although I never posted. I would especially like to thank FellowTraveler...once I become a member of the forum I will send you a PM to get your details so I can send you a check to say thanks for the help!

Pictures should be up within the hour!!!

You aso don't need to login to write some details here as to where and how you figured the clues out. Even spyguy (who hasn't found it yet) has been doing that much Smile

So yes, it smells fishier than the south street seaport just based on that one msg.

Take a Hike

You know what, the only thing I hate about this forum is the amount of distrust and lack of respect in it. It seems that whenever somebody comes in and posts something you assho*es sit around and try and make them feel bad by attacking them.

You can all take a hike. Aside from the fact that I can't post pictures until a certain amount of posts now I won't be doing it at all because you are all jackasses. And I don't care if you don't believe me, go ask the creators behind this and they'll tell you. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go count my money

Oh and PS - Sorry I'm that much smarter than you and I found it first. I guess my time was better spent actually paying attention to the clues and the videos rather than sitting in here squabbling like the pack of miserabs that you are.
