[quote="KevinG472" (might toss a couple little extras)[/quote] what kind of extra have ya got?

for the group 1, 2, & 3 coin winners, i'll send all of you a message in the next 24 hours regarding shipping, but heres the jist. US orders will cost $3, international orders will cost $6. If you want to insure them (recomended) it's double. These are rounded prices to make things simple. The 'change' will go towards maintaining this site in the form of a donation.

this forum is massive and expensive. The least any one of us can do is chip in $1 from time to time. So for those of us winning freebies, i'd like to suggest that you add a couple dollars in the shipping costs. Those of us supplying free swag, please accept these and pass them on as a donation to the site.

I see rogi ocnorb as the weekly supporter way too often. Lets spread the burden a little. Remember, $1 goes a long way!

Just wondering if anyone had encountered this problem, so maybe we could help each other out I don't know....

I got a pouch of Tokens from Flynn's, however it was missing Arc Wars and Astro Gunner. Weird.

Got your email a little while ago. Thank you very much Steve, it's good to know we have members who look out for others who can't get to any events. Of course a HUGE thank you goes to Susan for hooking you up.

The token pouch my girlfriend was given was missing Vice Squad. I'm assuming some pouches might have had tokens fall out.

Well only got 7 people interested in a token collection.....

I have assigned all 7 a number and will be picking a card (no hat to draw out of) and will PM the winner. I will give everyone a number in case that someone doesn't answer within a given time (generally 24 hours).

Keep an eye on your PMs Smile

Kevin

Hi everyone! On behalf of SoCalSteve, I'd like to extend his apologies to those awaiting the Flynn's Arcade tokens from SDCC '10. Some unforeseen issues came up for him and he will be shipping them out within the next 24 hours.

Yes, a fan screening that I'm putting on Smile
I put on fan screenings because a cinema full of proud geeks (myself included) enjoying a film is a brilliant thing indeed <3

Tron Legacy has been the most requested film screening to date so way back in April at the Chaotic Geek: Iron Man 2 fan screening it was announced to the cinema attendees first, that TL would be the event in December Smile

IM2 was a free event, and there was a drink & chips for everyone, and some giveaways for answering trivia (such as IM1 DVDs, & Light & Sound chest plates, etc) & afterwards, those that were interested all headed out for pizza Smile

This time there's a fee, but the goodies included are much better!
* Movie screening in Director's Suite luxury cinema
* Access to exclusive lounge area
* Commemorative event ticket
* Limited Edition Tron: Legacy film cell display
* Swag Bag
* Chance to score even more goodies on the night through further giveaways!
* First option on tickets to the next Chaotic Geek event
* After Party at Ed Hardy's Rockstar Bowling

Yes, the above list is me being lazy & copying & pasting from my site Wink

I've been in touch with Disney & they've been lovely Smile
It's very cool to know a company completely supports a film!

I hope this doesn't count as advertising because I figure no one here will be attending, seeing as it's in Melbourne, Australia, but my apologies if it breaks any rules!
I'm just very excited, you asked, lol, & I'm really trying to ensure this is even better than the IM2 screening Very Happy
If it's a problem, let me know & I'll edit or delete as requested!

I don't expect overseas people to travel for the event, but you guys won't miss out because I was planning on giving away something on here as a way of giving back to all the cool people who have been so nice to me <3
I run giveaways on my forum, which are mostly open to worldwide entrants (unless for local film screenings, etc) which you are all welcome to enter (currently 2 signed comics are up for grabs) but I figured a UF only giveaway would be a nice way to give back Smile

Sorry, I didn't sleep at all last night & now I'm waffling.
So, to get back to the original question, yeah... I'm putting on a fan screening of TL Very Happy

Actually I was hoping the IMAX would be putting on a midnight session, but your fan screening sounds awesome. Worshippy
Will you be taking your token collection to the event for people to admire, or will you be juggling too many other things on the night?
