Zoomed in pretty close. Short answer no. Some guesses, but not helpful (eg: I think it says Maddie Hayes under the ship). There may be something to the map. In which case, the map vis-a-vis the squid would be reinforcing something most NY'ers already know. Try ta Avoid Staten Island. Wink

HEY HEY!!! That's my stinky, sinking borough you're talking about, podna!! Don't make me drive to the Verrazano and throw a meatball parm at you! Then I'll send "The Situation" over there strapped with dynamite and both our problems will be solved lol

And here here to Sin Vraal's post. Let these puppeteers be. I figure they may do this again if they keep themselves "in character." It's all in good fun, and I hope to participate in something like this afterwards.

Time to meet, drink, solve, and dig!

Hey all,

It may be time to pool our resources. In person, we can be sure no one's sneaking off to dig up the treasure. Is anyone willing to let down their guard and solve this bad boy with everyones' smarts?

Some treasure be better than none!

No man - read my first paragraph again - this was not directed at you at all. You imposed some limitations that other people wouldn't/haven't.

There have been a number of people both on and off this list that have made some suggestions about digging further and I wanted to explain publicly what I've said to them off-line. I meant every word of it, and will not back off the sentiment. Smile

Hey Sin; no harm no foul ... I'm just trying to determine things like inside jokes that the puppet guys might have in order to distinguish things that are clues and things that are not.

For instance ... on the Larry King episode trailer there was the line about "Pickle vs Apple pay per view fight canceled..."

Then upon going to the Myspace page for the character Mario, there is this as a blog:

Saturday, September 18, 2004
who would win in a fight between a pickle and a tomato?
hey folks. mario here. i got into an argument the other day with my good friend fafa. i was hanging out in his underground apartment with him, drinking some root beer, and somehow we got into a very heated, yet intellectual discussion regarding a battle between a pickle and a tomato. i said that the tomato would win. ketchup comes from tomatoes. many organized crime families use tomatoes to make their sauce. the tomato is a very tough vegetable...or is it a fruit? it can be both! tomatoes are VERY SNEAKY. fafa's argument was a good one as well. he says that a pickle was once a cucumber, and the pickle had to go through a very rigorous underwater process to become a pickle. it is also tougher by nature he says. you can stab a tomato with a pickle, but there is no guarantee a tomato would crush a pickle. this is true too. what do you think? leave comments and lets see what the consensous is...

ok so clearly .. an inside joke as opposed to a clue...I would think at least.

Added, they equal 108
Subtracted, they equal -68
Multiplied, they equal 15353860
Divided, they equal .000003

I don't see any connection, anyone else?

chin chin

chin chin Sin. Also is that you Roger Thornhill, GeorgeKaplan?

Coincidentally, I thought I came across the homage to a homage - the missing and extra characters from ep 3 are r0t -roger o thornhill. What does the O stand for? Nothing. Which was a homage or dig on selznick. Is it a stretch. Indeed, but for a chuckle I'm willing to stretch a little.

was simply going off of the Transcript from the episode that was posted on this site which says:

Mulligan: Ah. I have the code of all codes. But it's so good it can't be put into words. Where's my crayons. Ah. My sweet crayolees.

If there was some sort of revelation as to "EE" vs "I" in a made up word spoken by a pirate puppet that I missed in 169 pages of posts, I sincerely apologize.

I think that besides it being an Homage to the TV show, if you mess around with all the numbers in the various episodes you are bound to get LOST.
