Dream Projector Newsletter 09/18

I will post the links to the newletter article for those who didn't receive it.

The Doctor's Talk

Dr. Karl Shoemaker analyzes dreams sent in by readers of the newsletter in this edition of The Doctor's Talk.

"We have always encouraged readers of our newsletter and the Dream Projector web site to send their dreams into us, so that we may determine if they could be good subjects for our Dream Projector Test Subject program." MORE

Dreams and Mental Illness
The dreaming process has often been used as a model for waking types of mental illness and psychosis, and the article in last month's newsletter on the connection between depression and dreaming was but a beginning. Dream Projector believes that the dream sleep cycle holds, if not the key, then a wealth of useful information to help us understand anything from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to Schizophrenia.. MORE

And The 40 Hertz Component

Research done in the last few years has shown that dreams may actually tie into certain frequencies. Studies show that a 40 Hz frequency is observed in both dreaming and in conscious thought. The mind in this state is thought to be separate from the awake or asleep mind; it has been tied to transcendental experiences such as those found in people during deep meditation. Quite often this oscillation is found during REM sleep, which is the dreaming time. MORE

Wow, we're finally starting to tie it all together.

But what is aMANda's connection to the 40Hz thing and Dream Projector?

Could the "old western town" be Gold Hill, Nevada?

Could the 40Hz resonators (tunnels/mines) cause people to dream while they're awake (hallucinate)?

Who has submitted dreams?

Maybe calling this number will speed up the contact process?

I didn't actually submit any dreams, because they didn't ask for dreams they asked for an email saying something about being ready to share your dreams. So i sent that. I also don't know if they is the same phone number i called for them before, but last time i had called them i got a message saying they were not looking for potential test subjects. it hink it's awesome it's changed though! I'll call later today!

I just called them and it still says they are not accepting applications... I left them a message with my name/number anyway.

I submitted quite a lengthy letter a few weeks ago. It was exactly two weeks after the newsletter instructions. I have called the number and left my personal contact information. If/when I hear anything, I'll keep you posted.
