 Need a little advice

I'm sort of a newbie to all of this. I had created an account at the beginning of this year, entered the cards I had - only for Book 2 - and other things took over, so I ended up not ever logging in again.

I had bought more books this past week and card packs. Went to log into my account, but couldn't remember my username or password. Apparently I never wrote them down. OK, fine. Clicked on to request the information and entered my email address. No such address in their database. OK, no big, I probably used another one. Tried EVERY email addy I have. Nothing.

So I emailed them and told them my dilemma. Got a response pretty quick stating I should just create a new account. I wrote back and asked about the cards I'd added already. I know you can only add certain cards once and that's it. I was just told to create a new account again. No reply on what to do about my cards.

I found this site while Googling help for one of the card packs - I can't read cursive writing apparently, lol. I've read dozens and dozens of pages and I know the majority of you know an awful lot about all of this so I thought I'd ask here.

I'm assuming my original account was possibly cancelled due to inactivity, and that's fine. I'm worried about the cards I'd entered. WILL I be able to enter them again? It's my understanding that they're entered into a database on-site, so what happens if I can't re-enter them??

Also, how to you know which cards are sharable? Lots of you are sharing the codes and I would like to do the same.

Thanks!

Unless, after creating an account, they add the cards you already had - yeah, sorry, but they're gone.

You can request cards though (not sure if you get to pick which), I believe someone posted how to do so in the main thread.

There's also the super replicators from the current card packs which are worth 10 replicators each - so you could replicate quite a bit as well. Plus you earn replicators from certain things, like entering the book puzzles.

The shareable codes are just card #1 and any card numbered 400 or higher. The 400 series stuff were all cross promotions and all the four digit card numbers are agent cards - you'll be able to make your own as well.

Welcome to the site by the way - always nice to have new folks about.

Thanks, Wind Lane Very Happy

After reading a lot of other threads here, I'm thinking I'm really too late to be playing - it seems The 39 Clues is going to be over soon. Which I guess is OK in a way because I'm assuming I can't win the prizes since they're mostly done - and the rest should be by the time I get there, LOL - and I don't want them anyway [being too old notwithstanding]. I'm just addicted to the ciphers and want to finish what I started.

Unfortunately, I didn't find out about the books until about Jan. or may Feb. and I didn't realize all the hooplah until long after that. I often read the books my children bring home from school - we're all HUGE avid readers - and although I'd created an account and entered cards, I'd only done that because my DD had told me to, LOL. Their school didn't have have a big selection of the books and what they did have were rarely there.

I'd read the books, but I didn't read the books - I just read the stories, I don't tend to read inside covers and such - so I didn't realize the... umm, expansiveness? There was WAY more to them than I'd caught on. I hope that was clear, I just woke up and since it's Mon., it seems like English is just NOT my first language, Laughing

Anyway, now I'm trying to get into the hooplah about it all. We only have Books 1, 2 and 4 - the store didn't have 3 - and Card Packs 1, 2 and 3.

I have all the Card pack booklets deciphered except the last page in the Secrets of the Madrigals. I just can't seem to get the very last note and there's one word in the 2nd one I can't figure out because apparently I can't read cursive very well. That doesn't make any difference to the note, really, you can get the gist of the note quite easily without it.

In reading through the threads here, I did discover I'd gotten one of the ciphers wrong, but since it anagrammed into 2 actual words I'd just assumed it was part of Book 3, which I haven't read yet.

Well, I should re-register and attempt to pin whomever emailed me back about the cards down to a real answer. At least I only had Card Pack 1 at the time so there's only so many Cards I'd put in. Book 1 we own is a soft cover, so it didn't come with any cards.

Thanks again and [tries to do her best Ah-nold impression...] I'll be back Very Happy
