Ghost Feet???
What exactly does this mean?

What exactly does Ghost feet mean?
Is it really 250 feet OR since Crothers has 1 foot does it mean 1/2 of 250 feet making it 125 feet?
What is your thoughts on this?

Ghost feet.

Even though I have been accused of not "assisting".... I will throw in my two cents here just because....

"Ghost feet" is a term used for video trickery. It involves tying nylon threads/string to your feet, attaching them to your shoes/sneakers, and walking backwards. Then, you play the VIDEO backwards, and it looks like your shoes are walking by themselves.

The term "ghost" can also refer to a version of an "ideal player" scenario in video games. Wherein you can utilize a "ghosted" version of your best path/time/game and IMPROVE your game by essentially competing against yourself.

So, in essence, they may be referring to looking over your paths again (Mulligan) or that somehow you want to walk backwards.

I believe that in one of the trailers Black Tom is shown to appear in a flash instead of in the video where he disappears...ghost feet example?

OK this is starting to get ridiculous.

Spaniard.

There's no doubt you are good at digging up info.

We all understand that you believe it's in Belvedere Castle or has something to do with Cleopatra's needle.

If you could possibly use your powers of detection in focusing on any other location in New York other than Central Park, I think that we would all start learning something new about the hunt.

I think everyone is fairly convinced there is nothing more in Central Park to look at. We DEFINITELY get in the subway at the end of episode 2, or at the beginning/whole of episode 3. That would take us away from Central Park in a variety of directions.

Please help us figure out where we go, or where we get off. I think this is what is missing for everyone.... and I mean EVERYONE.

We all have deductions of where this endgame might be, but until we figure out what subway line to take, or what stop to get off at, we are all just guessing. I think the puppeteers designed this game so that you would THINK you have the right park/place/location without properly figuring out every episode. Episode 3 is the one that no one has solved yet.... and episode 5 is no better.

For instance... Black Tom has a clue in Ep. 1 (the numbers). Black Tom has a clue in Ep. 2 (the flight from the ship to the sun?) and he also has a clue in Ep. 3 (throwing a shuriken in Larry's shoulder) Ep. 4 (the north-part) and Ep 5 (switching Jacks to Queens).

Episode 6? Not so much, huh? Just a finger point to a gorilla and a reference to his throwing stars not working, and saying that it was destiny to be together. But nothing stand out-ish or specific, right?

So... everyone seems to believe that his throwing star in Ep. 3 lands us in Queens, but in Episode 3??? The puppeteers are going to narrow down our search to a specific borough in Ep. 3?? I highly doubt this. Even though it may very well belong in Ep. 5, I think it might mean something else.

Thoughts?

Episode 3

I thought at one point I was in Forest Hills after looking at directions from the ticker. I just did not know where in Forest Hills-maybe Forest Park. Once the WPPPT came out I thought no, this is the Queens episode but now I am not sure of anything.

You cannot ignore the listening to Mulligan from the beg. That is a major clue how, I do not know what it means tho. The traced foot step always looked like Gov. Island to me but that is impossible.

Here's my take on that line:

When he says "hoist a flag" I think he is referring to the WeLostOurGold.com website itself.

Much like they refer to subway stations as "ports". If you can easily go on to a website and find their clues, it's like "hoisting a flag" and making a big scene so everyone knows what you are doing/hiding.

Yes, there may be a double meaning, and there very well may be a flag where the gold is buried, but until we figure out where we are headed, or what subway stop we get of? We won't know where to look for that flag if it exists.

I doubt that the "riverdance" actually refers to the production of Riverdance. It's too blatant and that production was actually more well known to have taken place at Radio City Music Hall.

The problem with that....

Is that we have been established that BLACKL TOM'S clues go forward in time, or at least belong in previous/following episodes.

Therefore, wouldn't Tom's throwing of the CHINESE STAR reference something in Ep. 4/5, and NOT the current episode (3)?

Or are we just going to say that BLACK TOM'S clues are random... or just generally "mysterious and secret-like at he same time"? and there is no pattern to find with him? Just deciphering?

Clue type order be damned?
