I don't think it's literally meant to be The Rake, but that's pretty obviously the inspiration for the creature.

 		I hadn't read the Rake's story. I usually don't like creepypasta, Slendy is the exception.

Yeah, this and Karuvitomsk's theory makes the most sense to me rn too... A Rake that's like the totheark/masky to Jeff's J? Or the Silver Surfer to Slendy's Galactus? A victim of the Slenderman, that uses him to lure its victims, but at the same times tries to creep them out and/or warn them to keep them away. Slenderman must have some use for him, or he'd have killed him. On the other hand, the entity seems to be able of some malice on its own (the dead girl, thought I'm starting to think it was an illusion, or a vision from the past or the future of some sort...)

I think the guys are trying to create the Ultimate Internet Creepypasta for real. Bets on who will show up next? The SCP Foundation? Well, they already have a doctor involved...

You know what I'd love? If it turns out, it's not the Rake or the Slenderman, but something like a Tulpa - something that takes the shape of what you believe into, because it exist just as long as you believe in it, and it spreads through the power of suggestion and imagination, just by virtue of its own creepiness. That's why Alex has been safe until now, his skepticism kept the monster at bay.

 		I don't really think this video cleared up much of what has happened other then the general facts. The plotline is currently WAY too ambiguous for us to know anything for certain. I don't particularly fancy the inclusion of a random dead body, I think it would've been cool if it were Jessa or Damsel (preferably Damsel- the sooner she's out the better). The acting was fairly believable as usual, although I really dislike where Evan's character is going- from the witty comic relief to YEAH LET'S KILL THIS MOTHERFUCKER I CAN'T WAIT, YEEAAAAH! ...yeah. The new monster seems cool and relevant, hopefully they will be able to tie it into the story before the plot gets too out of control.

On another note, I might be taking a ride to Lambertville sometime this week, I'll check out the location of the filming.

 		With that "new creature" appearing I may bring up another "theory" again I had.

Slenderman is not directly after humans but after something else WHICH is after humans. He pretty much just uses humans as bait.
Alternatively it could be that slendy himself is just a lure.

I am kinda down with nevnaan's theory that it could be a time travel/alternate reality thing, a-la Alex's house in Marble Hornets. So for all we know it was Jessa, only in some alternate timeline where they never rescue her. Makes at least as much sense as "lol random dead body" to me, anyway.

Also if you actually go there after seeing this video, that shows some serious balls Wink

 		At the risk of being redundant, I watched the first half of that video this morning, and I stopped right before shit got real. I come home, finish off the video and THIS happens? Fantastic, I may as well give up sleep.
However, for the record, I'm siding with the Rake school on this, with a reasonable suspicion that this Rake must have some other significance. For it just to show up with no other reason than being goddamn terrifying doesn't make any sense to me.

 		If this thing is the Rake, i dont think this is the first time it has been by the guys. In Jeffs journal, correct me if im wrong, but it shows his drawings of what could be a thing crawling after him. It never really fit as Slendy, but it does with this new being.

I'd say that there's definitely a connection between these two stories here.

This could definitely be. The description made no sense as applied to Slender Man, but in the context of the story of the Rake, there's a much closer matchup.

Still, more questions than answers at this point. The boys need to clear this up for us!

Yeah, I'm asking for quick clarification in a Slender Man ARG, THAT'll happen. Rolling Eyes

Seriously, at this point, I want it to NOT end, but if, then go on hiatus and come back with a season 2!!

Seriously!! I like to compare this kind of stuff with SKINS - season 1 was great, season 2 was one of the best shows I have ever seen, almost Twin-Peaks-ish at times. Then came season 3, and they decided to just stop all the old storylines and "re-boot" with a new cast. It was shit!! And season 4 was even worse...

So what's my point?? I dunno, just keep on doing this fellas!! Very Happy
