Herald Square / 34th Street.

There is something called "Halo", but I'm not convinced...

Can someone read and verify anything?

It seems that there are hints to subway stations like "Forked Journalist Tongue" can be Herald Square - a station named for the NY Herald.

And the "Spectacles" line can sort of point to Roosevelt, being that he wore them.

But this puts you all over the place and follows the theory that they separate, which makes sense to me based on Ep. 6.

There are a number of beautiful ways you can get lost if you follow the link above. It was one of the highlights of my searching; I found an old friend who is an artist at one of the stations!

There are birds, snakes, suns, etc. aplenty!

Port of Cortland

At Fort Greene Park in Williamsburg, there are tennis courts. One of the entrances to the park/tennis courts is on a street named Portland Avenue. It runs right along side of it - north/south. I haven't been there to check it out but someone once said there are 5 gates to the tennis courts. Could it be in reference to the tennis Court of Portland? Too much of a stretch?

No idea myself. Just throwing it out there. Confused

HOLD up.

PORTS.

Most subway stations have FOUR ENTRANCES.

Right?

Instead of the PORT being a PLATFORM (which is what I think we were all doing?)

The PLATFORM is is actually the DOCK, isn't it? The PORT, or PORTAL, would be the ENTRANCE to the dock, right?

This one sounds pretty good, though....

Tennis courts, Portland... what line is this?

I think there are a lot of subways that have more than 4 entrances from my experience with the subway system (Quite a lot)

How would you use this idea to further anything?

Other spots along the 1 and B Train
More Pretty Art

Saw these as well and thought of them as possible tie ins to the next episode.

No idea where/how to use them, but they may come in handy. Especially if we work on a split in Episode 5.

My brain hurts.

Not sure yet, Solo.

I am running a theatrical event whilst running back and forth from my computer.

I may have just tripped up.

But that LINK i posted on the art at Herald Square... if someone can read that and give me feedback, I'd appreciate it. And if we take another look at the Williamsburg/Fort Greene location that was just mentioned, maybe that.

The approach of TENNIS COURTS may lead us back to the 7, but let's make sure we weigh ALL options.

I gotta get on the subway myself right now. Get home and wlak the damn dog.

Stay with me, guys. I'll be back.

We are still at Columbus Circle.

It's got five lines that run through it. The A, B, C, D and the 1.

from what I can tell from maps, there are two stations at Columbus Circle, one has the A,B,C,D lines, the other has 1,2 lines. A total of 6 docks split between two stations

2 doesn't stop in CC

Google maps says it does, and the MTA/New York City Transit site says it does at night (hmm, episode 2 says wait until nightfall)

ahh yes def only at night - i work right near columbus circle and they don't even put the 2 on the signs.

forked journalist tongue always got me - had the same thought for herald square.. also i thought that pennsylvania might mean penn station which is also at 34th street.. and i believe you'd get off somewhere near 34th st for the empire state bldg.

Also due to the dialogue in episode 6, I have no doubt they split in some way.

I have the train of thought that the extra zero in 10,000 and the missing letter 'R' in Central Park may very well be MISTAKES that we have not presented to the puppeteers yet.

If they are NOT, however, then we may be looking for an overall WORD or CODE. THAT means we may have obviously missed OTHER letters / numbers in Episodes 1 & 2.

Is anybody willing to write and ask? We did so with the "48 Armies" debacle and got a response.

Another alternative idea. the extra zero and the missing R are both mistakes that the people from the Larry King Show made. They be the same people that summarized what Mulligan said for 4, then came up with the spelling of co(u)rtland(t), and then crossed it out!

interesting theory.. however i don't think i could solidify it as truth in my mind. Were there any errors in the ticker? No right?

Also, have we abandoned the thought that their subtitles (crewmember - brigand - roughian) are useless?

Right - and they go out of their way to say that we are indeed at the subway station at night. So the #2 is in play. And the A is running local, right?

I did a full recon at the Columbus Circle station last week - including how you move through the station from the main entrance (under the globe), what all the signs say, etc. I can summarize later, but a cursory look at it doesn't seem too revealing.
