up to my neck in turds

ok, i'll accept that as flushing...The next set of clues other that Mario and FaFa would be crothers and his blue hat with the orange feather which represents the mets or shea stadium (Citifield) one stop before the last on the 7 train to flushing so if he turned back that's where he would be. He also mentions his "pitcher" (baseball) of Tutty next. Then Mulligan brings up the crow's nest...That's why I brought up the 250 feet now....

Port of Cortland

If you want to Fly to Cortland, IL. you fly into Dekalb Airport, so the airPORT OF COURTLAND is Dekalb

Kind of like DeKalb
For my own twisted reasons

Ok, DeKalb is something I thought of early in the game and just today three more things have led me to re-consider.

I am still not confident, and do not want to go off on a Spy Guy tirade, but:

1) Let's say the pirates are on the subway, and the blue box represents the sky and not the blue line.
a) When the blue box is underneath them they would be going over a bridge.
b) When the blue box is over them, they are now below ground again.
c) The only bridge I know of that connects to Columbus Circle directly is the Manhattan bridge.
d) The first stop after the Manhattan bridge (if it is late night) is DeKalb.
(I know it's a stretch)

2) a) Mulligan always appears on the left, and the Captain always appears on the right (middle).
b) Until the final shot where the blue box is on top, at that point the Captain and Mulligan switch places.
c) At Dekalb, the B and D trains (the two orange trains) cross over each other and switch places.

3) Past Dekalb ave, the two orange trains B&D run parallel with the two yellow lines (N or R and Q). This is the first time we see all four pirates in a separate colored box. If we think Tom and Captain split from Crothers and Mulligan, this is a likely area where they might.

4) The Dekalb stop has the montage of the playing cards that I posted earlier.

5) There is an applebees located right above the dekalb stop (see picture). Someone mentioned that Cortland means apple, so maybe.

6) English Chris' answer makes even more sense than my Applebee's thing, so maybe I am not crazy.

I am going to assume that I have officially lost my mind now. Unless someone agrees with me or can help back up this discovery.

Now we just have to figure out where they are going!

It's a GREAT location!

Leads intelligently into Episode 5.

Gives us the ability STILL to travel anywhere!

Doesn't CORNER us in a far off location!

Still enables the proposed "split" (of which I am not entirely convinced)

and it is elegant.

Well done, EnglishChris.

Hear me out -

columbus circle A

To E at Penn

To 7 @ Roosevelt

7 to flushing

go back the other way?
