Looking at the deluxe figures on TRU's website. The technology used to light up the helmets is called "Impulse Projection". So when the figures talk, their face move! Here's a vid where Clu says a few choice phrases, pay attention for a nice surprise!

I went out yesterday and picked up a Sam Flynn figure. I have all of the basic figures now, except for Sentry. I also picked up one of the Tron Be@rbricks from my local Hastings for around $11.

The pics in that link are just custom fan creations, though they are cool. I called Lego today and spoke with a very nice lady who said that they currently have no plans for a Tron Lego line. She said that they (the employees) always hear about what's coming up, but she said nothing has even been mentioned about a Tron line. Time will tell. I would love a Lego Tron line.

Thought this would fall under this category.
There's this site Disney partnered with to promote TRON: Legacy. It's called getglue.com. It's kind of like foursquare/Facebook Places, but instead of checking into places you check into watching movies/reading books/listening to music. Basically if you check in enough and like enough topics/films/etc. you get stickers as a reward. Once you earn 7 stickers online you can begin sending away for them...free of charge.

The reason this is relevant is because if you check into watching TRON: Legacy you will earn a sticker that looks like this:

It's pretty slick...and also...now we know what the film is rated (I didn't know before seeing this sticker).

Cool, I signed up for getglue a few weeks ago but didn't know they actually mailed out stickers once you reached a certain level of them...

Looks like there might be another Tron Legacy sticker?
http://getglue.com/apps/hbo
If you click the arrow in the box that says "check in to earn exclusive stickers" and keep going until Disney, it shows another Tron Legacy sticker with Sam's face.
It looks like this (sorry can't get it any bigger):

Looking from the image address, looks like you have to check in on the opening weekend.

I've been all over the getglue site trying to earn stickers lately. Great, a new obsession.... Most of the ones I see on other users profiles don't seem as easy to obtain as the description lets on.

I did some research around and found this tidbit of information on a blog post regarding getglue.com.

"For the new Disney partnership, GetGlue will offer three stickers each for two upcoming movies - Tron: Legacy and Tangled. It will give one for seeing a trailer, one for watching during opening weekend, and one for watching later."

Sounds like there are 3 tron stickers to be had Smile

Look closely on the sticker. Looks like this is going to be PG rated. Sounds fair enough: the original Tron was PG as well, borderline PG-13 actually. This'll probably be like that, too, which is a good thing!
