I thought at first that there might be some binary at the 1-second mark (or thereabouts, but it just looks like 10 10 10 repeated over and over.

I'm beginning to think this is merely a viral ad campaign rather than an ARG.

Well, 'they're' certainly active this morning on twitter and FB;

http://twitter.com/theyrehere2010
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Theyre-Here/121791627869044

but I think likewise Cortez...

had a look at the sequences of tens and counted them. Listing them from top to bottom yields this list:

26-19-12-42-42-19-34-22-23-38-36-21-22-12-(empty line)-8

27-19-12-43-43-19-35-22-23-39-36-22-22-13-(empty line)-8

The second list is taking the tens into account that were cut off at the left or right side.
Though, I do not know what to make of it yet. ( if there is something in this, at all )

Edit:
Added a screenshot of the sequence

The two lists are almost identical, but where there is a difference it's a difference of 1.

Looking at the differences gives:

10011010010101-0

Can't get that to translate to anything useful though.

Hmm.. could we be looking at a viral for some mobile tech launch..?

The reporter at East Yorkshire area has what appears to be a mobile tower behind him and there is what appears to be the same early in the video footage also - HTC Desire Z/T-Mobile(tmo) G2, some reports of it being pushed back to the 10th October Dunno

I received a YouTube friend request shortly after the email came through.

http://www.youtube.com/user/modelmotion

Check the latest video for...something I don't quite know what to make of.

Also this user listed his website as http://www.webseriestoday.com/

It really kind of looks like a gamejack to me. Thing is that I don't know how they linked this game with my YouTube account. I haven't made any comments on any of the They're Here videos. I'm not following them or friends with them. I'm going to put a warning out there though:

DO NOT SEND EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS IN THE VIDEO

It is a nasa.gov email domain and could land you, the PMs or unforums in BIG trouble if anyone emails a nasa.gov address with a bunch of nonsense about alternate reality plots and alien conspiracies.

The YouTube user modelmotion has been a member since 2006. Not necessarily a problem but odd given that PMs usually set up dedicated accounts for the game.

I'm giving this one a miss unless something substantial happens.

modelmotion is the creator of the web-series list on twitter for a while now and the www.webseriestoday.com site, I would read it as a coincidence re 10.10.10 and/or fan/player rather than a "game jack" or a PM... Pretty much trails everything ARG...

Yeah I don't really have a problem with fan made videos when it's obvious that's what it is. I take some issue that they actively sought me out (I still can't figure out how or why they associated my YT account with this game) and that the video could EASILY be viewed as a kl00, one that could potentially lead people to email youarenotaloneSPLATnasa.gov

I sent a tweet to Paul T. Geist asking for confirmation that it was not an 'official' video. Got this response...

P.Geist would like to confirm this was not his doing, he is glad people know #theyrehere and are willing to make contact thoug

Umm guys, I don't think modelmotion is anything to do with this Smile He is someone who gets involved with a lot of ARG's but has never (to my knowledge) been part of one. Smile Smile
Interesting stuff, this 10.10.10 business Smile

I do not know Jack.

Just a video message to "NASA" that they need to get ready based on what we have seen so far from the "official channel".

Ready for what? I guess time will tell. But look to the "official channel", NOT me for future developments.

i.e. the video was just and attempt to interact with what has unfolded so far. Nothing sinister

this probably has nothing to do with it....

but all of a sudden I am seeing video clips for some movie regarding the 10 commandments on TV premiering on 10-10-10. Its for some movie called "I Am..." I saw it tonight while I was watching Supernatural.

new mail arrived - photos up on FB

Hi

just received a mail with two links, one leads to a series of photos on facebook, the other to a new vid by Theyrehere2010 on YT.

newphotos

YouTube: Link

As to the vid posted by @kmrowe1 I also think this isnīt related. It uses 10/10/10 when it comes to dates and not 10.10.10.

Further I noticed that there are two identical websites up for theyrehere. One ends with ".net" the other with ".org". Donīt know what this could possibly mean.
Anyways I second the opinion that this has more of a viral than an ARG

Greets Fnord

Edit:
Also there was some new Aurebesh attached to the mail which I overlooked before. Translates to:

AKDLDP DHJFDHGHD FGEKLFJK

Tried some ROT/Vigenere, but no luck so far

Checked my email and couldn't see it. Definitely not simple shift (1:25). Any ideas for possible keys? Tried:
