Re: Mario and FaFa video as important to understanding solution
they expressly are referring to clues in the pirate videos

Spaniard wrote:
In the post above, I meant to say that on the video on their website they ARE expressly pointing to clues appearing in the official 8 videos.

And so it is fully consistent to say that all the clues appear in the videos at welostourgold -- one of which of course cites gloveandboots.

Have you seen their other "private" videos on their youtube account?

Re: "I called! I called!"
for all we know, redemption may involve calling

By using a number in Wisconsin, however, they have avoided us looking merely for a 212 or other NYC area code.

In exploring the hypothesis, we are left looking for a 10 digit number beginning with an area code.

Then perhaps there would be recorded redemption instructions.

516 422 3006

Fafa and Mario did a 'commercial' for a 'laundry' and it had this number

The number doesnt seem to ring though? odd?

1st thing you see on their website.

A sign that says "Under Construction" and "No Clues Here"

Morse, Sun, etc.

I appreciate what Spaniard has to say...but for logical order, I guess we need to decipher the clues as is..

Slim what is your take on Maddie Hayes? I can barely remember Moonlighting and I am not in my 30's anymore. Of all the names to pick for a ship, they pick that one?

Don't know why Crother's is so unlucky.

Sun reference again. One word from each video maybe?

Morse code, I need to look at my notes, I do not remember getting time out of it. Don't forget that umlaut thing too. That may help you make words

Quick appearance. We haven't left the subway, or perhaps we have. I may have missed it but has there been any discussion of the 6 being placed to the west of the queen, consistent with the 6 subway line? I immediately thought og that but i thought it so vague that I let it slip away. Also is it relevant that the skull/compass blew up the 8? Finally, i dont think this is the case in the video but in the screenshot supplied above, it looks like one of those chips is not like the others, dark with white dots.

Giant...

I thought the same thing, when I first saw it too, maybe that is our Bronx path?

random thought: in the Featured Player segment, the captain talks about players that bring lucky charms to the table. Looking at the marshmallows that come in Lucky Charms cereal, there have been green clovers (clubs), blue diamonds, pink hearts... but no spades... might be relevant somehow.

Wow, Spaniard you rock! You should put together the next hunt!

As for the WPPPT-why the 2 shot glasses? Is that to indicate that they split up or is it just the Captain and the person doing the interview are having a drink?

Why did the captain play around with the blue poker chip and the red one btwn. his fingers?

If Spaniard puts together a treasure hunt, I know the first place I am looking for the gold. (I kid, I kid, but seriously, I'm making a b-line for Belvedere.)

pffft. whatever.

You didn't pay attention. There was MUCH more than just switching the 'C' with the 'P'.

Best of luck, though.

and for the record, I haven't dismissed Spaniard at all. I simply want to focus on solving/desolving a particular path. Spaniard is GREAT at finding obscure references and information and I have said that repeated times.

Maybe, but have you ever been to a poker tournement? More lucky charm knick knacks then a garage sale.

I did take note of that comment. He also said he could count on his (hands? fingers?) how many players he shot what brought a lucky charm to the table.

Lucky charms? Pink hearts? Yellow moons? Green clovers? Blooooo diamonds? Purple horseshoes and red ballooooons? and don't forget the Pot of gold!
