Now laugh! I don't mean this in a mocking way, I mean it in a tension reliever way. That's why we've evolved that power.

Laugh because none of us are going to claim this money. Not all of us at least. Most of us believe we will. That's why we have the wall, or the papers, or the maps with various pins. But only 1 person will, or a small team of less greedy people who will argue over how they could have figured it out on their own, or maybe none of us. Keep laughing, I'm talking to you.

I think I want to write up a reverse documentary of this maniacal, schizophrenic little community we have built and other hunts.

The sociological statements coming out of some of these posts are bordering on the line of political and religious extremism. We are solving a treasure hunt created by puppet pirates and it has taken over all of your lives. I know! It's done it to me!

Keep laughing. Alright, let the madness begin again. My thoughts in the next Post

cards

At the end of episode 5, after the bomb reveals the compass in the table, there are a 6 card and Queen card. It seems to me that both cards are on the angle that the compass turns. So if we rotate it and make the compass turn back to north, that would put Queens on the right, with the 6 vertical on the left, like the vertical 6 line.

Also, in the beginning of episode 6...
" Hold fast, Mulligan!!! Even if they stopped at the next port, following a close compass heading to ours should put them..."

That is what may be implying that they travel in pairs?? Also, if they are following the compass, that would be northwest. If captain is in Queens, heading northwest would be the bronx, which is also where the 6 leads. I'm not sure if I understand the "even if they stopped at the next port", since I read it to mean that the Captain got off the subway in Flushing.

fafa

When fafa is in the top box and says how did we get up here, is this a clue, we're on the right track. I originally thought that meant the blue line heading north. But I do like the theory of going over a bridge, does that happen anywhere leading into the bronx? Maybe it may mean elevated tracks. I know the subway comes out of the ground for the bronx. Is it for all of the bronx or just some parts/lines? Also, does anyone know of places in Queens or Brooklyn that has elevated lines?

Bronx

What about the Yankee Stadium area for the elevated tracks?

yankee stadium

Ya,Yankee stadium is pretty much the only part of the bronx I've ever been to. Does anyone know any other parts of the bronx elevated? What about up by Van Cortlandt park?

Morris
Here's what I have to bounce back for anyone who wants

Mulligan loves "Morris Code"

Pierre, farewell to you and thanks for the extensive work. I hope you had fun in the country and thank you for the openness of your gift. Going to analyze it carefully tomorrow, but it sounded logical and definitely made use of more of the video than I was at first satisfied.

UDBmas, I hope you join us back in the forum. I am all for free speech and brainstorming, so bring back everyone even SpyGuy. I've always felt that this game is a strategy of who keeps the best notes, not who solves clues the best. And I want your voice in the book/documentary.

Cap'n, Lighting puppies on fire, by far made me laugh the hardest of all of the posts. It inspired me to commission a cartoonist to draw for segways in the documentary. Yes it will be in the likeness of you.

I am on my second view of all of these notes, while also keeping up with the created notes, so please forgive me if I ask someone to repeat a connection for me, but here are my questions/points.

In all of the theories that suggest the cards are speaking of subway lines, what does the 8 stand for? It doesn't seem to really fit without a leap, that I'm not yet comfortable with.

Besides Port Morris and Van Cortland Park having "Port" and "Courtland(t)" in their names, is there anything else attracting anyone there. I haven't found, but am going to do another look-thru.

I am amused by the Brighton-Britain possibility, but spectacles. Smile

Cap'n, you mentioned a while back that, I believe, SpyGuy gave us a huge leak/hint with the Gorilla in the Cabin line. Do you remember what you were referencing?

Going to attack some tasks tomorrow, and hopefully it will not rain and I can get pictures on Thursday (my next free day).

EDIT- Sorry I can't be more helpful tonight, it took me nearly and hour and a half to get through everything talked about. Need sleep to process.

Cortlandt

Maybe the extra 0 in 10,0000 is just indicating a missing or added letter, and Cortland is missing the letter T and should be Cortlandt.

The 1 line goes up to Riverdale. As an interesting (perhaps) aside, it crosses the Harlem River (above ground) and then is in Marble Hill. Even though Marble Hill is on the other side of the Harlem River, it is still technically Manhattan (it votes in Manhattan elections for example). The reason I believe is that the river was diverted some time ago, but after political lines were drawn.

That's interesting. Is that the phrase? 800lbs? Maybe it's the apple (there's your DaVinci code Spaniard!). The Big Ape=The Big Apple! Very Happy

I really liked that area earlier. When I looked at some old maps it had the most British fortifications. It seems that there were a lot of fortifications in NYC, but many were Dutch and American held.

I think it's interesting that at first Mulligan does not want to aknowledge there is a gorilla in the room but the others do and try to fight him. And then when Mulligan finaly does look at the gorilla in the room the others act like it's not there carrying Mulligan away and talk about other things.

Yes! I thought it seemed significant, but not sure why. And mulligan yells "Captain, I think he thinks I'm a woman!" while being carried off. King Kong? I don't know...

Also, right after that when the captain says "Alright you video makers. Had your fun you had. Now show's us your clue and where our gold be hidden." Crothers drops to the ground, and the tied up Tom lifts up a little. The light is swinging back and forth like a pendulum. The 2 chairs are leaning at the same angle, coincidentally (again, or not) the same angle as the compass and cards at the end of episode 5. Something about those 2 swords in the background. One leaning against the vertical of the door, the other angled down. It almost could be an X. Where, I have no idea, but it appeals to me!
