It's really only in focus for a second, so yeah, looking at the background, if you're expecting Vince there, Vince is what you'll think is there.

Actually, having watched it again, I notice
1) Vince is only ever seen underwater in that video
2) Evan is above the water, and is seen through it's surface from underneath.
3) it's one of the videos the hybrid guys can't see.


There's some sort of white crawling figure drawn on the journal. Yesterday I failed at screencapping (btw, thanks Ubertaco) but I'll see if I manage one today. EDIT: rewateched it to take a screencap, I... sort of don't see it anymore - it looks like a normal person seen from an angle, actually. I don't know anymore Shocked (I was really, really sleepy yesterday, so I might have been seeing things).

And about the Jessa thing... yeah, basically I'm used to see the main trio together in this kind of shots, and lately when I see trees I think "Slendy!" and start looking frantically for him in the background Razz

Anyway, yeah, it looks more like Jessa in the screencap. It's def not from A Day In The Life then, Jessa's got a white top in that one.

EDIT: In the new video, it's breathing in one channel and whispering in the other, right? At first I thought the breathing could be Alex himself, but it doesn't really sound like him. Actually, the breathing sounds like a girl's to me (as much as one can recognize a voice through breathing). The other voice sounds a bit like it's talking through some kind of filter... awww, why can't I download Audacity on this computer? Sad

- the breathing/right channel:

sounds even more like a girl to me. And she's breathing like she's scared and in between repeating "help me, help me", and maybe "you have to"?


- the left channel:

sounds like the pitch has been made lower, like in classical horror movie style voice masking (think "Scream"). It's repeating "your brother, brother". There was something in the Rake's creepypasta about saying the name of the next victim, right? Confused

I got the help also, and yes, it sounded very high... Is that Jessa, maybe??

As for brother, I need to check again...

EDIT: just checked... The Help me doesn't sound like a girl. Sad Maybe it was slowed down...

EDIT EDIT: In the right sounding one, I also got Brother, BUT...

Right in the middle, there is something that looks and sounds like a bit of reversed audio. I grabbed that one reversed it, and it is the sound that came in the black video right at the end, the one that sounded like "Promise to".

SO, listening to this again, finding it after reversing the audio, it sounds more like "Wo bist Du?" to me - which is german for "Where are you."

This is highly debatable though, as whenever things get reversed, people hear something dark (see: Beatles).

 		I got a reply from Alex:

I asked if it was a built in closet and whether or not he heard the whispers during the night etc. Asked if he'd heard them when he watched the footage back.

"Its a built in closet. And at the time my room was dead silent. I don't really know how to explain what the audio is doing"

I told him it might be an idea to check around his house to see if there's anywhere creatures can get into wall spaces etc.

I also asked Alex is he knew about the fire Jeff was trapped in.

"it's probably the audio just screwing up, the flashlight that i keep on me could have fucked up the frequency or however that stuff works. And i don't know much about the fire. I was a baby at the time, maybe ill talk to him later."

Alex is also 15 and Jeff is 19. Which'd mean the fire started when Jeff was between 4-6 yrs old?

 		I'm always more scared of sounds than of visuals. To the point that there's a Velvet Underground song ("The Murder Mystery") I can barely listen to, even if I know the band was just fooling around. Dunno why.

Okay, so I caved in and got myself some Audacity and after some fooling around, here's what I hear:

- they're both
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
sound loops. I can hear the moment the loop ends and restarts - afaIhear, only once in the right channel, twice in the left one. In the left one there's even a weird "jump" in the waveform.


- right channel: it still sounds like a female voice to me, even slowed down. If I could only get a decent spectrogram in Audacity (I'm still new to it, and Speech Analyzer, that I have for school, won't open this file for me)...

She's repeating "help me, yeah, you[?] help me".


- left channel: this one's tricky. It has definitely been distorted (lower pitch and maybe slowed down, too), and Anonimousity is right, there are some reversed parts.

I think it's "[silence] your brother, brother, [reversed] your brother [reversed]". About the reversed parts, the second one sounds like "I'm here".


If it helps, whispers are usually 12db lower than normal speech IIRC. Also it's difficult to convey certain sounds in whispers.

EDIT: Jeff said he was in elementary school, right? 5-6 years old, then.

 		Ooo, this is getting fun. So, I just had a brain storm. Could Habbit be a missing brother, one Alex and Co have forgotten about, one who was being treated, and was giving to Slendy as some kind of offering.


Also, could the Rake be a proto-Slendy, like a mayfly nymph.

 		I'm thinking of a new theory on these sounds from Alex's room...

so it seems as if there are, possibly, two distinct voices in the recording, one, most likely a male, saying "your brother" and the other definitely, to me, sounds like a female whispering "help me"

this might be hard to explain, but the sounds reminded me of certain nightmares I've had, (and I've read this is pretty common) where you yell and yell but all that comes out is a whisper? Anyways, what if those voices are Jeff and Jessa...stuck in the "other dimension" or "other time" (seen in the "Jeff" video) trying to break through to the present time/dimension? Desperately crying for help from Alex, but unable to reach him? Maybe from a future in which Jeff found Jessa? Maybe even a warning?

I don't know if I described very well what I'm thinking, but we'll see...perhaps even the videos that the present hybrids are unable to see...what if those were uploaded by the alternatehybrids? From an alternate dimension/timeline?
