Seems rather silly to come right out and say it's an ARG, why not just call it an adventure weekend, sounds rather silly to me and the idea of selling tickets to it.

Seeing as it's a biennial, the artist or group that set it up probably had to submit a lot of documentation to the organizers to get it approved for inclusion, and they in turn made an announcement about it on the site as they would for any of the other events or projects.

This ARG isn't necessarily targeted at everyone, but rather the people attending this biennial, likely the artist's peers and others from the art community.
