What's up, Slenderfans? I'm new here, but I just spent all day reading through the entirety of this thread - for future reference, the entire page about you guys discussing how hot the characters were was really, really annoying for those of us trying to catch up on actual theories. :p

In the original Rake mythos, the Rake is said to be able to communicate with people... I think the audio tracks in Alex's newest video are the Rake trying to relay some sort of message to him, be it friendly or not-so-friendly. As for the female voice that's heard, maybe they're trying to tie in the Rake's mythos to the established mythos of The Operator from Marble Hornets. For those of you who don't follow MH (or just need a refresher), a lot of people believe that The Operator communicates by relaying back sound clips that he's heard before... if the Rake killed the girl in Police Checked, No Body then maybe he's using her pleas for help as a way to relay a message to Alex. Just a bit of speculation - but that's what this forum is for, right?

Also, since nobody else seems to be doing it, I'm gonna go ahead and take the initiative and start working on making the EMH Wiki less of a steaming pile of shit. What's done so far looks good, but it's so ridiculously lacking in content that it's scarcely useful at all.

(OT: Is there any sort of "General Discussion" section in this forum? You all seem like pretty cool people, and I wouldn't mind getting to know some of you apart from the ARG.

PS: Hi, EMH crew! I know you have to read this thread, considering how many times things have been discussed here and you've brought them up in the videos shortly after. :p)

WTF? That picture of the dude with the afro is QUITE unsettling. I just joined now, specifically for this EMH forum. I discovered Alex's Youtube channel today, and saw a few of you say that you saw the "Afro Man" with blacked out eyes, and at a glance, I thought you guys were crazy! I commented a little while after, questioning what you saw, but I take that back after reading this forum. Directly after I found the Youtube channel, I did some more research on EMH and it brought me to this forum.

I have read all of the posts you guys have made, and it is very interesting. Demongel, if your theory about the reasoning as to WHY the background change occured, than my interest in EverymanHYBRID has grown!

It seems like Afroman with his eyes blacked out has something to do with Alex's newest video, as well as his recent troubling encounter with a certain large, white opossum... who is said to have pure black eyes.

I'm honestly really starting to agree with us being the crazy ones in this situation-- as far as I recall, didn't they also delete a video in the past and reupload it? The searching for Jeff video, I think.

I think that's what bothers me about EMH sometimes. I honestly feel a little unhinged after watching it.

Yeah I know.. I think I should re-watch as much as I can of the series this evening, just to refresh my memory. I have watched all of MH about 4 times, haha, but not EMH. I need to catch up! And concerning the blacked out eyes, in relativity to The Rake.. Or the ever so mysterious white possum LOL, I think that could possibly be linked. I'm not sure --I need to dig a little more!

I think I recall someone over at SA mentioning that the Slender Man and the Rake mythos' are somehow connected... I don't have any proof of that, though - does anyone else? I'll start doing some sleuthing about that on my own, but it'd be nice if somebody could back it up, seeing as I've been having trouble finding information about the Rake. :p

Yet another long-time lurker here. Thoroughly enjoy EMH, MH, read entire thread, etc.
Did anyone ever notice that towards the beginning of the EMH videos, back when there was still a title (and health tips were still considered, lol) that the subtitle of "EVERYMANHYBRID" changed to 'Something is going on here' (or a very similar text)? The meaning of that is obvious, and I apologize if I am merely reiterating known facts, but I figure it is possible that it or something similar may have been overlooked.
ALso, did Damsel live in Florida? I mean, we know she lived further south because she says she traveled north after her slender-episode. If so, that could really be a connection, if I read correctly that Dr.Corenthal retired to FL or somesuch.
A consideration about the videos that the EMH crew can't see- possibly they are merely plucked images from the timestream, as they seem to have footage that hadn't hapened yet. (as opposed to alternate reality/ different universe/memory theories)
The depths and intricacies of this arg is just totally astounding to me, I am pleasantly surprised.
Also Jeff says he doesn't remember where he held up in the school as a kid when the fire was raging, mayhaps in a wall? I'm getting the feeling that Jeff has far more to do with all of this than previously assumed, but then again, I would be surprised if the brilliant storytelleres of EMH went with something that one or more people would expect.
I'm thinking that the rake figure looked far too feral to be helping anyone out in any way (leaving boxes or postcards or whatever), but we really have yet to see that confirmed or denied.
I'd doubt that the slenderman and rake mythos were connected at all before now (but hey I could be wrong).

I wonder what the newest tweet is all about. Jeff sounds a lot more frustrated/confused than in the earlier ones. Did something happen?

I guess we're really supposed to be trying to figure out what the postcard was pointing to, then. I don't have much of a clue at this point.
