Hubba bubba? New Area?!

It seems that our wonderful site admins have made this the Slender Man Mythos section and split it from the Marble Hornets section!

Now personally, I love the idea. However, I'd like to know: What do you guys think of this?

I think it's awesome. I thought it was stupid how Slender Man stories with their own merit were clumped in with Marble Hornets - stories like EverymanHYBRID are very obviously NOT just simple side stories.

I approve very much. Smile I didn't post in the suggestion thread 'cause I didn't think the mods needed another person going "I vote yes!", but I love that the active Slenderman stuff has its own shiny section in the forums now. Especially since some of them stand up in their own right without the viewer having to have seen Marble Hornets - EverymanHYBRID, I'm looking at you.

Personally I thought a Creepypasta-ARG board was a good idea but this is okay.

AND I CAN POST AGAIN.

(I didn't register because I would never be very active)

Being an oldbie who doesn't keep up with most of the new side stories, I'm mildly indifferent going on through crabby about the change, but only because it signifies a real point where, yeah, Marble Hornets probably isn't going to be continuing any time soon, and all of the fangirling and spergin' out that I've invested in that series has come to an end.

Personally, I haven't been able to engage with the newer stories that have come out (honestly, being that much of a fangirl is kind of ridiculous to begin with!) but I can definitely see how having a new forum is a good thing for the side-story writers and filmers, and I'm very happy that they'll get a chance to shine under the spot-light without being forced to share the stage with a series gone on hiatus.

I have to wonder, if Marble Hornets starts back up again, will it be unarchived in its own forum, or will it be bumped into this forum? After all, it is still in the same league as Everyman Hybrids, despite having become a sort of grandfather for Slendy-blogs. Does it deserve its own space? (Fangirl says 'well duh, of course!' rational brain says 'not so much.')

I agree with you on it's own space.

What he said.

It just took me a while to decide that I felt such.

The reason this forum is named "Slender Man Mythos" should be a clue of what would happen. Wink

MH is part of that area and as such would be moved inside this main forum. Of course it would have its own branching threads but it will be encompassed in the Slender Man umbrella we have created.

That is if MH remains in the same format of using the SM monster to scare the players. What if MH came back with Yeti as the main monster?

Basically there are a few variables that we would consider so it's never 100% certain but for the time being the answer to your question is "inside this main forum".

I need coffee...

Yeah, I hear ya there. At first I tried to keep up, but it just has gotten so overwhelming with all the new blogs.

Since I had the MH forum on my favs, I wondered where all the threads went... Then I found this section. I now have a new fav. <3

*Points at Dray's post* That pretty much sums up what I have to say about this.
