I don't really see how anything he said would be considered a "gamejack," especially since the thread he was referring to has nothing to do with another ARG.

I didn't say he was, but the thread sounds like he wanted to start his own ARG within unfiction, with wouldn't make sense, but didn't work out. i dunno, if he wasn't, my bad but it's a little suspectt...lol

It's against Unfiction rules for an ARG creator to post his own thread here anyway, so I'm sure if that were the case then the admins would take care of it. As for this thread, I think we really need to cut out the off-topic chatter (myself included) for the sake of people who might need to catch up in the future.

The "Damsel-was-doing-her-own-ARG" thing is cute, but kind of too meta for me. Why involving another indipendent group in your own ARG? That's begging for trouble.

But where do the initials P.D. come from, if she was talking about Jeff? And what "change of scenery"?

I really want to know who contacted who. I'm half thinking that it was Damsel who offered help - maybe the police bothered her again, and she got scared and wanted somebody who could back up her story about Jessa's disappearance. Or maybe she saw the video and was moved and decided to finally spur into action.

And Jeff obviously took it the wrong way. I see where he comes from - especially if he didn't know they were friends, he might think she's just an insane person who's trying to use Jessa's disapperance for attention.

But I agree the fire thing was a low blow.

I'd love to see the rest of the Everyman team's reaction to this fight, even if it's just a reference to them being annoyed or backing Jeff up or whatever. I kind of felt like that was lacking when he came back after his unannounced road trip - I know it makes sense in character for them not to air their dirty laundry over youtube, but I would've still liked something more than 'he's back, we've moved on'.

I think that's why I like this twitter fight so much, and the videos that they can't see. It's not exactly a battle of epic proportions, but it's a chance for what we see of the characters to be spontaneous and unedited.

Just searched for "Ashen Wasteland" and this news report came up - possible relevance? Fire and water connected, unsolved arson... all the hallmarks of our tall dark and handsome friend.

4 years ago would have made her 14-15, I guess, given she still suffers from "teenage angst". There's certainly nothing in there to indicate it's the fire her family died in, given its warehouses, no casualties and what looks to be a much bigger lot than her "half hectare of ash".

Personally, I think it's probably unrelated, unless she's tied into any other fires. Or at least unrelated to her. Doesn't mean it can't be a Slendy incident of course

Ah, I missed the "half hectare of ash" part. I don't follow her blog very closely, so I only know about the fire second-hand.
