I feel pretty sure about Jane Eyre considering everything else. There is a novel named after Mary Boleyn. But if she was the answer, there would really be no point of mentioning the novel at all, just a sister. She could be wrong. Guy Fawkes as Guido should work, since the clue is to change it to Spanish.

My thought is to try Agnes Grey for the second one, but I might just be having trouble letting go of the idea. Anyone else agree with that?

I'll tweet her with it in just a second, if you want.

Coffee Yesterday, it was too busy here to mention that my email from leonardwoolfSPLATrocketmail.com was similiar to the others with the subject "I'm watching you". BTW those new or not already contacted by him can also interact with him there.

Sent in Jane Eyre, Agnes Grey, and Guido Fawkes, and just got this back on Twitter:

Quote:
Tried Jane Eyre, Agnes Grey, and Guido Fawkes. Got back: One for three, your mom goes free, and Alex lives another day.

So it looks like that was it, and her mom's been released!

New tweets!

Quote:
Talked to my mom. She was in a hotel room, but never saw anyone but "staff". She never saw Alex. Was not allowed to leave or call until now.

Quote:
I'm heading down to Tucson to see Mom and see if we can't work together to find Alex. G is going with me.

Just got another text: "Time to go on a field trip."

Gonna start working on the clues. The soap on a rope comment just makes me think about the Pope Soap On a Rope.

"There will be bones" is a quote from Romeo and Juliet.

The rest just make me think of song lyrics, so... curious as to where this will go.

Another PW Sad The jpegs combined with Alex in Mexico MAYBE close to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_of_the_Dead ??

EDIT: Also, the official title of the "bones.jpg", is called Skeleton Playing a Violin, Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos
And, yaha ravanjedi, you're so right about "pope soap on a rope".

Day of the Dead/All Soul's Day is November 2nd. The Pope icon may refer to All Saint's Day on November 1st?

Agree, that wiki article is also about "Day of the Innocents" on Nov. 1st , remembrance celebrations to honor children. Maybe that 's a tie-in to the "wearethechildren.jpg" and the "sun" jpeg refers to its Aztec origins? Why do some jpegs repeat 'tho?

Just for posterity since the pages keep changing...

Order on the page is, top to bottom: Skeleton, kids, sun, pope, kids, skeleton.
The 'holdingallthecards' is from a rejected? version. See two edits back on the history page (10/8 5:14pm). I don't know if that's a help or a hindrance, though. They are all tarot cards if we're back to that. Death (XIII), The World (XXI), The Sun (XIX), and The Hierophant (V).

If you convert the numbers of the tarot cards to letters, they spell out 'museum', but I don't really know where to go from there.

Edit: Not sure it's related, but they're celebrating the Day of the Dead at the British Museum November 1st. Link

Edit 2: I should learn to read things completely; that was 2009. Embarassed
