That is exactly what I thought when I saw this pop up. If were lucky they will pre-sale tickets to TRON right after the footage is shown.

 		So we'll get to see 20 minutes of a movie, and then wait 2 months for the actual movie?

I'd rather not, to be honest... Early screening of the ENTIRE movie, sure... but only a piece of it? I don't know...

Is there any possibility that this would be the full movie, this early?

We got the Q/A with Kosinski and Lisberger at the last screening in LA, so I assume there may be similar appearances this time Very Happy

 		Shocked Holy Crap Shocked ! It's going on in VIRGINIA too!! Woo Hoo, closest IMAX to me will be the Science Museum Of Virginia...OH PLEASE, TRON NIGHT THERE! Can't wait, even if it's only a 'sliver of Legacy', I just know they will have some live perplexing puzzles at it! Cheers!

Fandango already has tickets for sale in certain cities for midnight shows on Dec 16th and subsequent days.

depending on where you live here in Houston, there are 4 IMAX locations near our area; 1. Silverado 19, 2. Edwards Katy, 3. Edwards 23, and 4. Moody Gardens.


weird thing is AMC Gulfpointe 30 is listed as IMAX 3D theater in fandango and has times listed for Dec. So I wonder if that will be one of the preview locations also. has anyone in Houston actually seen IMAX 3D at AMC30? I didn't think that was a true IMAX screen more of a upsized regular screen.

 		There are several in Florida, but I would venture to guess it'd be in Central Florida near WDW.

There are three IMAX theaters that I can think of in South Florida, so who knows?

 		On the one hand, I'd love to go to for swag and to meet Lisberger and Kosinski, but I'm somewhat apprehensive to spoil TOO much of the movie.

I dont want to be spoiled by seeing that much of the film but the possibility of swag makes this a must trip if i can get a ticket.

I live in Clear Lake area, you think it will be at more than one of the locations or just one. which do yo think it will be at? depending on what time it is at I should be able to make it to any of the locations.


I live in the Humble area, i'm most likely to go to the Silverado 19 near Tomball. BUT, it does say CHECK BACK FOR MORE UPDATES, so i'm guessing itll be at one location.
