Just a random thought.........I'm sorely disappointed that Sparky doesn't have her own page on the EMH wiki. lol.

Maybe the Slender Distortion Field is now complete in Alex'n'Jeff's house, so the first MH entry looks like some guy randomly filming an empty yard and a porch light. Smile

That's an interesting idea, I'm actually playing another Slender-Arg where the same thing has happened, so that seems plausible.

It would also explain why they aren't more freaked out over some of the videos. Maybe they can't see Slendy in the school-house video, eh?

Out of the blue, I started wondering again about the bit at 19:34 in the June 11 ustream, where it looks like somebody in purple pants rolls or falls into the doorway and then is dragged back out of the visible area. Vince put on his Viking hat to investigate and said everything was cool. Did anything ever develop from that or is it just an enigma for the ages?

Also, I'm hoping Damsel's queued post shows up soon. It's already been 48 hours; how long could she have expected to be detained?

i think that vince later on said that he played it off during the ustream as if nothing was back there, but then later on showed us the pictures of them hanging up with burns and purple duct tape and 'canyouseethewords' everywhere.

I think I asked Jeff and the guys about that, they thought it was just Alex being an ass. I'll ask him now you've reminded me lol.

Oh! That was what set up the reveal of the shrine? I'd forgotten that, thanks!

And thanks for asking again, Didz. It'd be good to get some follow-up on that and on Evan walking around with tape on his mouth in a different ustream.

Happy to help lol. I've no idea about the Evan thing but I'll mention it to Alex when he replies. I've just sent him a message telling him about what happened in the UStream vid and said that Jeff thought it was just him. I'll see what he says. I know Alex likes to play tricks on people so it could well have been him.

Not on my laptop, too lazy to log in Razz

I think Damsel will take a while. She might not even come back at all to the blog in the first place - if she comes out of the psych ward, the first thing she'll try to do is trying to cancel her traces again. Also, I think she's in the psych ward, not in jail - they've got no elements to arrest her, but if she has an history of suicide attempts, for example, they can keep her in a hospital for a while. Not that it makes any difference to her.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm not sure the message is actually in the post queue or if it's something we have to "trigger" with some action.

We've got some very good guesses for the Land of Ashen Waste, gj everyone, but I still feel like we're missing something.

Re: the videos - in that one in which Evan is doing the silly Freddy Kruger thing (lol), he has a camera, because Vin tells him to turn it off - and the video goes on, IIRC (can't check, can't watch videos on this laptop, too slow). Which is definitely one for the "stolen memories" theory - but some scenes are too weird to be memories, like the "Alex with purpletape on his face" one - I think those are dreams.

Actually, to me the whole of "78of76" looks and feels like a dream, and even if they can see that one, I think it's safe to say it has been made with the same "matter" of the other invisible ones. It has just such a strong dream-like quality – which makes me wonder what did they actually found behind the door they knocked down, or if they knocked it down in the first place.

Also, I think they got it wrong – I think the knocking down the door scene is not from A Day In The Life. If it actually happened, it was earlier. But like I said I can't watch the videos rn so if I missed something obvious forgive me.

I agree. Unless there's something really huge being withheld, I don't see how she could be in jail. Also, if they were locking her up, would they have let her have computer access long enough to make her last post? I honestly don't know.

I hope that's not the case. Her...well, her everything is so cryptic that I wouldn't know where to start.

Yeah. The only clue is so vague that it could be all sorts of things. Unless there's something we've been missing. Or unless it's like the #wheresjeff hashtags, where they want us to act like we're involved without actually having any effect on the story.

Stupid question, but did anyone ever ask if there was a postmark on the card?

You know, that might be genius. It would explain why the clothes don't match up between the "Day in the Life" door kick and the "78of76" door kick.

Can't imagine an 8 month pregnant burgler though...can you? lol.

This is the song written for Man, Slender.
Also for Vince, Evan, and Jeff.
He tried to kill them with distortion.
The Rake!

Just sayin.

I think we've come up with the theme songs for the Slendy/Rake Variety Hour.

78of76 is a video they can definitely see, they found it on that USB key from Jeff's room, according to the video notes. I don't think it's a dream sequence.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It also says the video is from the Day in the Life shoot, so it may be an in-game error we're supposed to get something from, or a simple OOG mistake they made during the shoot.

I know they can see it, but they don't remember shooting that scene, right? I say it looks like a dream to me because that kind of 'teleportation' (from, say, the inside of my room at night to some forest in the middle of the day) happens all the time to me in my dreams, lol. I even had some teleportations to the seaside in which I could hear the waves before opening the door, like them. But it could be a coincidence.

I think they shot the video then "forgot" about it, and they think it was from A Day because it was the last time they were all together trekking. – because somebody messed with their memories of that day, so they wouldn't remember either the portal to the sea or something else they found.

So in A Day they went trekking in that same place they shoot 78of76, but couldn't remember about it, except maybe... You know, if you want to go insane with epileptic trees, you know those moments in A Day in which Evan stills to look at something very intently? He was having deja-vus.

I figured out how the queue works on Tumblr. This is what the site says it is:

"The queue lets you stagger posts over a period of hours or days. It's an easy way to keep your blog active and consistent."

So I think that she's got it set to post a new entry soon, while she's away.

In MarbleHornets, the same thing happened to Jay. It also happens in SeekingTruth. I think Teleportation is just a Slendy-element, rather than a dream sequence. Once again, we're kind of flying off the handle with our theories here, guys.
