How does SlenderMan affect you? Like. When you watch, read or think about anything SlenderMan.
Personally? I haven't been able to sleep with the light off for the past couple days haha.
I'm 19. and a guy.
But I scare easy.
Anyone else?

Every little bump in the night makes me jump like a bastard. Worst jump I had a few days ago when, at like 2:30 in the morning I woke up to use the bathroom, I saw a suit in my closet. After having a mild panic attack I turned on the light and saw it was the suit I wore to my cousins wedding.
20 years old, and male. Just shows Slenderman's one hell of a scary bastard.

I couldn't sleep for a bit after the first time I watched Marble Hornets. I still have moments where I freak out when I hear tapping on my window. 17 and Male, if it matters somehow.

I took an internship that had me out in the middle of the woods for 12 weeks.
I couldn't stay outside after dark for too long, because it looked like everything was moving and the few spotlights gave some epic Slendy illusions.
I'm a 22-year-old female.

Well, I haven't had nightmares or anything like that.. but there are these thick woods by my house and whenever I'm outside, I can't help but keep my eye on them... just in case.
Edit: Since everyone else is doing it: 19, male

When I'm home from school, I sleep on the third floor.
The third floor looks exactly like the room from Entry 14.
You do the math.
Edit: Also, I'm 21 and a dude...because apparently this matters to the conversation >>

I'm 17,Male and live right NEXT to a thick forest.
Personally I'm not scared at all, It's my favorite fantasy thinking about Slenderman coming to my door, hopping on his shoulder and him and I flying through the forest like Tarzan.

I see the operator symbol everywhere now. If there is a vaguely X-like marking over a circular-ish object, I will see it as that symbol.
I was a bit freaked out for a while, being unnerved by the dark/woods, but I've mostly gotten over that now. Writing about Slendy has helped out a lot in getting that under control.

Whenever I'm alone in my house at night, I always expect Slender Man to be right in front of me when I open a door. Not to mention the fact that I've been getting a bad cough and having trouble sleeping lately... and the small animals that manage to get into my attic always make me think the Rake's hiding up there.
I'm gonna be a rebel and not mention my gender or age.

Im not trying to dissuade anyone from these types of thing, but try and check the ephemeral marble hornets. It has a couple of this kinda thread.

MH is in the Archives section though... I thought the entire idea of this new category was to keep all of the Slender Man discussions out of the Marble Hornets section.

I remember back when I first watched it. I only sleep once morning came round. Eventually, I got my sleep back on schedule, and now only sleep with a knife.

I'd get sleep deprived staying up till dawn then get paranoid because I was sleep deprived and had to block my door with a chair. This made it worse because I was CERTAIN something was on the other side of the door, but if it was open something could get in while I was sleeping. Sort of a Schrodinger's cat situation, except with monsters. So I didn't sleep for about three days... yeah that ended well.

I was playing Silent Hill 4-The Room and during some of the loading screens there was this sort of tall looking figure dressed in black with no face I haven't gotten that far into the game so I don't really know what it's really supposed to be but when I saw it I started think about Slender Man.

I about freaked out today. Near my school, a Japanese restaurant is opening up. On one of the windows is some kind of official papery thing and theres a spot to write something about... something or other.. I can't remember, maybe I can get a picture.
But anyways, I was walking by the restaurant and looked at the paper and all I saw was, written in marker, "I See You". I immediately stopped, stared at it for a few minutes, and looked around to see if the SlenderMan or anyone was anywhere nearby.
