So are threads like this really allowed? I thought these forums were about strictly Slendy stuff. I have no problem with off-topic threads, I actually think it's pretty neat to talk to you guys normally - I was just wondering if it's against the rules at all.

It's not against the rules. You can have OT and social threads as long as you remain civil towards each other and the posts refrain from turning us into e-harmony or 4chan.
