Whose birthday was Fafa celebrating then?
the birthday cake

Fafa is fond of birthday cakes.

It is TinTin's 80th birthday this year and filming began on TinTin's birthday.

Here is Spielberg and Jackson at Comic Con, I believe, discussing TinTin and his birthday.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O2elQVYta0

If the Spielberg's company (see GoFish card, which is a specialy division of Dreamworks) is not a sponsor, whose birthday was FaFa celebrating with three candles?

Here, the Captain's friend Simon Pegg, who played TinTin, discusses the experience of filiming the movie.

The Secret of the Unicorn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfzFNW5VmnM&feature=related

A boat model which was stolen is just one of three constructed by Sir Francis for his three sons. Each one holds a parchment which, when placed together, will give the treasure's location. Tintin and Haddock then visit Mr. Sakharine, hoping to examine the parchment in his model, but find him unconscious in his apartment and the parchment taken from the model. Sakharine's description of his attacker matches Barnaby. Later on, Barnaby himself approaches Tintin in the street and wishes to talk to him but before he can enter Tintin's flat building, he is suddenly shot from a speeding vehicle. He manages to warn Tintin that "they will kill [Tintin] too" but when Tintin asks who "they" are, Barnaby merely points at a couple of sparrows. Tintin is later kidnapped by the perpetrators of the shooting, the Bird brothers (hence the reason for Barnaby pointing at the sparrows), two unscrupulous antique dealers who believe that he possesses the parchments. They are behind the theft of Tintin's model, having discovered the third parchment and have figured out that they needed all three to decode the clue to the treasure's location.

After being kidnapped by the Bird brothers, Tintin later escapes from Marlinspike Hall, a country estate owned by the Bird brothers. Captain Haddock and Thompson and Thomson arrive to help their friend and they capture one Bird brother while the other, Max, escapes. As their prisoner confesses, Tintin requests their police comrades to put out a police bulletin, which ultimately enables them to capture the fugitive at the
national border. The parchments themselves, however, were stolen by a kleptomaniac specializing in wallets (the same pickpocket pursued by Thomson and Thompson, who is eventually cornered with Tintin's help).

By the end of the story, Tintin and Haddock have the parchments, and discover where they will find the treasure, by combining the parchments
to read 20°37′42″N 70°52′15″W / 20.62833°N 70.87083°W. The sequel, Red Rackham's Treasure, continues the story and introduces the idea that the numbers need to be understood using the Paris Meridian (using the rose line) rather than the Greenwich meridian.

The game is afoot.

Fafa uploaded the video on August 15. While I don't know if it is relevant, Napoleon's was born on August 15. Fafa and Mulligan may be a French spy!

Spaniard: There is no sponsor. Not Peter Jackson, not Twitter, not Google, not anyone. The producers have said from the start that they weren't doing this for anyone but themselves. Why would they lie? If they did have a sponsor, they'd have to know that the sponsorship would be made public knowledge eventually, and they'd have answered any sponsorship questions with a "no comment" or some other noncommittal answer instead of a flat-out lie.

BertGuyEarnie: Given that this is a photo we weren't supposed to have ever seen in the first place, I'd be pretty surprised if there were intentional clues hidden in it.

here are the PR Newswires in which the puppets addressed
the issue of sponsorship

PR Newswire releases from NEXIS:

In a June 21, 2010 release, "$10,000 Treasure Buried Somewhere in New York City," the puppets stated:

"This is not a contest, nor is it a promotion."

In a July 6, 2010 release titled "$10,000 Treasure Buried Somewhere in New York City:

"The pirates appear concerned that this web series is exploiting their activities, and jeopardizing the safety of their treasure. They also scoff at the suggestion that the series is the scheme of a corporation, or a product endorsement."

"You think we're workin' fer somebody?" said Mulligan, the ship's First Mate. "Heh. That's a good one. You know we're pirates, right? Who would we work for, Johnny Depp?" ...

"Fellow pirate Tom declined to comment, the Captain having reportedly killed Tom's Japanese translator over an amusement park dispute. When questioned, the Captain appeared unwilling to deny the allegation."

The pirate in June and July specifically addressed this question whether the web series is a viral marketing promotion involving a hidden sponsor.

A July 19, 2010 PR/Newswire release, titled "Puppets Continue to Insist They Buried $10,000," stated:

"Although many blogs have been speculating that this may be a corporate marketing tactic, there appears to be no product tie-in or promotion involved. The premise seems to be a legitimate standalone entity. If viewers watch all eight videos, find the clues and solve the riddles, they can find the treasure chest. Last week MSNBC offered credence to this fact, with Tamron Hall interviewing the puppets on MSNBC TV. When asked by Tamron if this was for real, the Captain responded, "Of course it's real. I had ta lift that chest...it weighed about 200 pounds...when you count the chest too."

The only answers offered by www.welostourgold.com continue to come not from a corporation, or any promoted entity. They continue to come from pirates...puppet pirates.

"I works for the Captain!" said Mulligan, the ship's first mate. "I wished I worked for a corporashukin though! I'd much rather work for Kevin Rose!!!"

Added his colleague Crothers: "I'll work for anyone willing to pay me with beers. I'd also love to work for any company, big or small, who has a toilet. The kind with the running waters."

Fellow pirate Tom declined to comment, the Captain having reportedly killed Tom's Japanese translator over a motion picture disagreement. When questioned, the Captain appeared unwilling to deny the allegation.

"If ya says one more word in regards ta that turd of a film, I'll chop yer face'k off, I said! An he said he couldn't help it, that he were on Team Edwards, on accounts Edwards were so dreamy. So I told him I hoped the Vampires he'd meet in hell were sparkly too... and I chopped his face'k off. If any media type folk want somethin' from Tom, they can speaks ta me. An they think I's bein' paid fer losin' all me gold, they can sod right off."

It is made adamantly clear that the viewer should NOT just start digging randomly in NYC. "Don't just dig, ye codfish!" the Captain said in an earlier statement. "Tha spot be clearly marked! Diggin' at randoms be pointless..."

Er, Spaniard? You just bolded things that said there weren't sponsors. The first quote mocks the idea, and the other two say they only wish they worked for some corporation. I also remember, but can't immediately find, a more explicit and not in-character denial in an anonymous interview with the creators; can anyone dig up that link?

Also, in regards to non-literal burying, this quote from WLOG's Facebook Discussions page, under the topic "Packaging", emphasis mine:

Quote:
[Facebook user, name removed in case there's privacy concerns]:
Are the coins in bags? Trying to lift this 150+ lbs. box out of the ground will be a chore for just one person. Do I have to bring two big guys with me or will I be able to make several trips from the chest to the trunk of my car? Should I bring my own money bags?

We Lost Our Gold:
The coins be in a treasure chest, under the ground. It weigh about 200 pounds, so ye might wants ta brings a bloke ta helps ye carries it.

If ye wants ta see the treasure chest, it's in this here video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjrPwjXAmI0

I don't see how there's any wiggle room for figurative Moonlighting-style "burial" there, nor can I see how the concept of playpen balls can sensibly fit into it.

Jim Henson
Jim Henson's memorial bench number is 10098, a New York City zipcode.

Hi Projectyl!

I value your input. We just disagree. I also don't believe that the Captain killed Tom's translator. Their press releases have all been given in character. In the NYT article, the brilliant video freelance editor is merely saying that AGS, the reporter, can punch him in the nose if he is lying. But now why would AG want to do that when it is all in good fun and AG had seen the same fun, spirited press releases sent the other media outlets.

If they don't have a sponsor I hope either the Captain or Mulligan sails off later this month to the Southern California meeting about pitches of the creators of webseries to sponsors. It's at Borders and open to the public for the $40 registration fee. I think this series should be on television. The more I think of it, it would be seriously wrong for it not to appear on television - to be followed by a major motion picture. I think we are witnessing the emergence of the next Henson -- the next Stone, the next Nelson.

Fun fact: Jim Henson's memorial bench number is 10098, a New York City zipcode. One letter to the New York Times explained that in one hunt, the solution after elaborate cluing involved a bumper sticker on the bottom of something giving a number to call.

"I'll call! I'll call!" Mulligan said. "I called! I called!" If ever I sat on that bench reflecting on their talent -- I might wonder whether when Mulligan says that even a lubber could find it, he meant grasshopper (one meaning of lubber is a grasshopper). I would take a moment and look under that bench. Then I'll do the same with the Sesame Street Director Stone, whose memorial bench is next to the Jim Henson bench. Mr. Stone died of Lou Gehrig's disease ("luckiest man in the world" speech).

The only thing I wouldn't be doing is digging holes.

The Lamp is probably part of the lighthouse in the window. I am speaking of the Funnel like spout on a pipe in the room, the same funnel seen in the wpppt video.

It looks like a knob on an adjustable light stand. There is a power cable next to it.

Actually I am possitive it is not . If that was a power cord, its defying gravity in its arch. And that spout is not a switch either, it shoots coins in the wpppt. Jut my opinion anyways. I feel its some type of flare used for something we should define. Its not a lamp. im most certain. Look in the early part of the wpppt. like in the first 30 seconds, you will see the flared spout. I have seen this before somewhere, it baffles me.
