 		If you search for "Larry Langford" and "Chicago Fire Department" then it turns out he's a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department.

The quote in question appears to be from his statements concerning the Pucinski story mentioned upthread.

Great list! My thoughts:

Whichever one this is, I suspect this isn't going to be dependent on player action - from an in-character perspective, the post is in the queue and it will turn up when it turns up. From an out-of-character perspective, either they have a particular time they have planned for it to show up, or they'll post it once certain other stuff has happened to make it look like CYSTW predicted it (but in that case the only way we can trigger the release is by triggering the event that triggers it, assuming it's even a player-triggerable event). Very worth keeping an eye out for, but probably not a loose end we can fruitfully tug on at the moment - at least not directly.

I think this is the one most likely to respond to player prompting - the Hybrids are specifically soliciting ideas about this on their Twitter. I'll definitely ask if any of them have a connection to Chicago.

I figured that was something Jeff slipped in to the vid to suggest that he believes in Slendy now and he thinks Slendy did the deed... but he doesn't seem to want to declare it openly, unlike Evan.

Either way, it's worth pestering the Hybrids to get them to show us the paper officially. Hmm, will send them a tweet about that too.

 		No idea if this is relevant. I googled "land of ashen waste chigaco" for some unknown reason and this popped up.

An interesting question would be why have the EMH crew been so reticent to share what's on the paper? I think it suggests that it contains information that's either damaging to them in some way, or is simply to terrifying to share. OOG I can't think of many technical reasons to withhold what is, essentially, a photograph. Perhaps the contents of the note are supposed to be revealed in a massive update that we've been dreading expecting for some time now.

I still think that Alex is not long for this world. He's going to get disappeared by Slendy or dismembered by the Rake. That or Sparky's going to be the victim. Given the creepypasta, it is clear that if the Rake crawls into your room at night and whispers distorted warnings into your ear, someone is going to die.

 		Sent them a tweet asking if they could share what was on the note and if it had any clues as to the Land of Ashen Waste. Doubt anything will come of it but what the hell.

I don't know, but it seems like you may be on to something to me. We still don't know the story behind 76of78.avi and the beach has a connection to the plot. Mostly likely with the "ark".

With all the time travel or whatever it was involved, more could have happened on the beach than we know. the tape suddenly ends as Evan is directly in front of the camera, as if he's going to attack or act hostile. Possibly some of the clips in .- come from the beach. It almost seems as if Evan is drowning someone--or at least he's not in the water while the cameraman (Jeff) is.

Agree again, I had meant to include that originally. Maybe we are reading too much into it. Chicago is the site of one of the most infamous fires in American history. Doubly dubious since it was also the site of a massive flood.

Could be deliberate pacing, could be real life getting in the way, could be the piece that would come next based on it is not fully complete yet. Few not so sinister possibilities could be the culprit.

Yup! Twisted Evil Hopefully soon cause I'm getting really antsy for something to happen. Loving EMH very much so far. Didz, you seem to have a good thing going with Alex. I think having a single voice to communicate with characters makes things much easier for us and them to trace and respond if you are comfortable with continuing that. I was thinking along the lines of trying to coerce him to move things along a little faster by suggesting that a wild and possibly rabid animal could be very dangerous to him and Sparky. An albino possum would be something of a curiosity and he could likely get it removed professionally for free if he could get some documentation of it. The best way to get documentation would be to point that camera at the open hatched closet for a couple of nights while him and Sparky sleep in another room so as to not spook the poor critter. Wink Is there anyone who has some good communication with the other guys that would be willing to act as a mouthpiece? I think item 2, the Land of Ashen Waste clue, should be our primary focus at this point. At least until we get a new vid or twit otherwise.

 		I had sent EMH an email the other day with the thought that maybe the twitter trash talking and possible jail for Damsel was a subtle IG way of telling us that their paths are not meant to cross at this stage of the story and not to keep trying to force them to join forces yet. With that in mind, here is the email and response

I wrote:
Hi EMH. I get a bad vibe from the CYSTW girl, and from the recent exchanges on your twitter feed I'm guessing you do too. I know she has mentioned that there was some kind of accident in her life involving fire. Do you think this could be the "ashen waste" from the postcard? She has admitted to knowing Jessa also. I wonder if there is some deeper connection there. Aside from that, could the ashen waste be the school from Jeff's past? Any connections to Centralia that it could be referring to? Sorry, more questions than answers from me, which I'm sure is the last thing you guys need added to the situation. I hope I can help further in the future, and good luck.

So as far as item 2, I think that response kills options b and c. Chicago looks very promising but I don't see anything more detailed than that and I feel like we are looking for a street address or location and not a town. Has anyone else made other suggestions that we could rule out? I'd like to get a handle on what they have already rejected and what we haven't tried yet so we can narrow down the focus and not flood them with several duplicate suggestions.

 		Going off on (another) limb here, but in Damsel's last message she says "Whether it's a rat in a shoebox or King Charles of Zembla in his formerly-majestic palace, a prison's a prison."

Does anyone know anything about this King Charles? It may contain some clues, but more than likely it's just Damsel being Damsel Confused

 		So, I'm in need of a favour from someone. Mainly the fact that this baby'll be here soon so I'm not going to be able to keep grilling Alex about various topics whilst in the hospital. Would someone kindly take over? I'll send you a pm when I've got to get to the hospital to let you know...or if people prefer I'll post that I'm about to drop a sprog lol.
Totally off topic but I think that what we've found out from Alex so far is useful and I'd hate to see any info go unnoticed.
