O.O to Laura, though. Why do all my games explode while I'm asleep?

So while there seems to be a pause, I thought I'd try to put together the story pieces as best as I can figure them; doing this mostly by memory, so please correct any errors.

Main protagonist is Laura(Lori) Moore, who is a college student living in Tucson specializing in English in History, and who has had several apparent run-ins with ghosts, specifically one called Elizabeth Moore. Laura has 2 sisters, Sylvie, who has we've just recently had contact with and seems a tad more bitter than Laura, and Jenna, who died when she was 17 from leukemia. Laura had a dream that seemed to link her dead sister with this Elizabeth Moore.

Laura had two dads; Ted, the biodad, was a journalist and died in Iraq. Alex, the stepdad, has disappeared, apparently kidnapped, although we know he was trying to get away on his own when he asked Laura to get his other passport (don't know what country it is from; England?). Alex is apparently been embezzling from the charity he worked for, and someone seems pissed by this, and if we believe that they have Alex, seems to be threatening to kill him, and may have killed others. We have no idea who they are or whether they are pissed because of the embezzlement stuff.

There is the boyfriend G, who seems to like hunting ghosts, is writing some sort of haunted travelogue, was raised by gypsy fortune tellers, and seems to have fallen in love with someone we assume to be Laura, but it isn't actually clear from his blog. Actually, it isn't even clear G is a man; might be a woman? His name is all over the site (IranawaytoTrees) that is leaving us clues to find Alex, and perhaps now Laura as well. I seem to remember Laura took over G's blog to pass this info on to us? Is that right? So doesn't that mean this site should go dark now that Laura is gone?

Laura's Mom has been a pretty minor character so far, but we know that Alex didn't want Laura to tell the mom about his passport thing, and Sylvie seems to think Mom knows more about what is going on than she is saying.

So what have I missed?

no idea...like I said will have to catch up as I just really found this (or started looking into it at least) but as they are a college student, it would stand good reason not to rule it out yet imo.
