Uh, actually, yes it is. It fits the description of The Rake, in Reunion they had a response to the letter from the Creepy Pasta, and in the video in which he appears they play 'The Rake's Song'.

Seems like evidence enough for me.

They'll update their in-game YouTube when they have a video. They're allowed to do other things with their lives-- acting is what they do. I mean, they're college kids. They have a right to play around.

No I'm not saying that at all.

What I'm saying is that because they didn't use their youtube accounts past the first video, they decided to hide these videos on them, as they had no plans to continue using them as personal youtube accounts.

I meant on a scale like how in MH The Operator is Slender Man yet still separate from Slender Man.

Though for all accounts I do think it is The Rake. I was just giving an alternate idea to the person who didn't think it was the Rake.

 		I must reiterate: Why ignore what's set in front of you? Some people seem pretty intent on doing just that.

I would have accepted these as OOG had they been posted before EMH began its course. It would confuse the players and just make a mess out of everything otherwise. But these videos were posted as the game was running. Further, the dates of the last known videos and comments from the team correlate with these releases, or at least support them as being in-game, chronologically. The story (or at least what is clear to us now) continues to flow logically with these releases.

 		The biggest reason I really, REALLY don't think these are canon are because there was no indication of how we were meant to find them, and it completely disregards "the Land of Ashen Waste" (which, before these videos, was the main focus of the series at the moment) in favor of the team being in mortal danger... which doesn't make sense, seeing as we're only 2/7 of the way through the series, if the boxes are to be believed. It just seems like a really ridiculous Xanatos Gambit that they would post two random videos on two random channels and just assume that somehow we would stumble upon them through either the contest or the suggested videos on YouTube. Videos with such low views normally don't get suggested... which is why it took us 12 whole days to find them after they were posted.

tl;dr: I think you're all living in a silly epileptic forest.

Edit: Gymen, I really don't think contacting them OOG about IG information is a good idea. That's a good way to get PMs pissed at you.

I fail to see how The Operator is different from, well, Slenderman. They're the same entity. The creators just call him The Operator because it sounds more ominous and serious than Slenderman.

rethink this. no one is ignoring the vids, just saying that are not intentionally related. please don't creep the puppetmasters by stalking their personal lives. this is not in game materials. there is no IG link whatsoever to these, and the evidence of it being a reply to a game contest says to me that they are not anything other than just that. so the timing was bad in that they had a game going on, that's fine. they are allowed to have personal lives outside of the EMH project. the related vid link that lead to this is just a weird algo by youtube. it was not driven or created by the people. just stop people, please.

Other than the characters, the story, and the fact that they actually watch part of an EMH episode (as Jeff looks for clues), I totally agree with you.
