You do know they put Marines onboard Navy ships, right? They get to do all sorts of wonderful things there, and not just get hazed by
Squids
ratings.

I'd love to answer a payphone, but unfortunately, there are absolutely no coordinates in my area, and there never have been. We need to convince the PMs to spread the coordinates out a little bit, to a few smaller cities. Otherwise, it makes the game unfair to the people who live in the smaller areas.
How many "officers" have we had contact with? Also what determines whether an axon receives a live call?

Does this worry anyone else? Do you think we (the non-com officers that didn't make the "seeking" axons) are considered the "monitors"??

well we'll see what they're told when they're called, and whether or not they spread the secret information... this is too cool...

Melissa thinks we are her crew. She thinks unauthorized monitors are listening to the data that only her crew should have access to. So, the way I see it, we are both the authorized crew, and the unauthorized monitors. Melissa is a bit confused.

Shad0 - I can make the 18:49 axon (or the 19:11 - but not both), and I think today, I'll go for the more frequently answerd phone, the one that rings. I can cover the glendale one tommorow.

My conversation with Melissa (or for the R&B fans: Why I wish I checked the board before I left.)
This is from memory, but I think I have it mostly right. [META]The responses were fast. Even to things that were unpredictable. I have to assume this was a voice actor on the other line.
Hello. Don't hang up. If you are who I think you are. . .
What is my favorite game?
Hide and seek
that is the right answer, but I need to make sure you are a real person and not a recording. Do something a real person whould do.
What, like die?
. . .
I'm a Real person Melissa
What did you call me?
Melissa
Then you are from my ship.
What is your name
::vortech thinks like mad, eventually decides to say a believable enough sounding name::
Carlson.
Carlson (instantly). What was your rank
Lt.
I know all of the members of my crew but I don't have you in my records.
What ship were you on?
Apocalypso
Yes. Then you must be part of my crew. It is good to speak with someone familiar.
Where are you?
I don't know. (something else unhelpfull)
What Happened?
I'm not sure. I can't quite. . . I feel alone. Can you tell me about a time you felt this alone?
After the crash.
long pause. ::I love bees sound loop, but it sounds like weeping the words::
This communication hardware is public. Do you have a number I can reach you at that is private?
Yes.
::Gives his cell phone::
I didn't get that
::Gves cell phone again::
::Repeats the last 4 digits of cell phone::
can I share this recording with other members of the crew?
Yes.
Then clicks on the line
Melissa?
Hello?
Melissa?
----
Yeah, so I guess I could have been special, but I had to play Mr. Sneaky pants and pretend to be a crewmember. . .
