Exactly, thank you. And his tweets often seem manic to me too. "I just know we'll find Jessa in Brooklyn and everything'll be okay!" He grows more and more erratic and kind of baroque and dramatic. Because of his driving leadership role I find myself worrying he will snap more than Evan at times. Unlike Evan he seems passably normal much of the time and the other two are either too far gone or too shellshocked to notice the cracks. Jeff went from being a relatively minor presence to disappearing and appearing on his roadtrip declaring he had it all figured out, yet never seeming to totally let us in on his thought process. And now he displays the same sort of morbid euphoria as Evan from time to time.

Vinnie only occasionally seems to tune in to me. He's gone from being the showman to along for the ride.

 		Honestly, I'm hoping neither SM nor WTTA are canon. They do however serve as very nice teasers of themes and ideas and suspicions we already have as the audience.

To try and redeem myself for my recently passed stupidity, I will try and answer this haha.

If the "Slender man" video on Crash621's youtube is canon, then it would be because, as Evan explained, because "he keeps telling me to do these things, these horrible things, to the people I love. My friends, my family. And you know what the worst part is? He makes me want to do them."

Edit: To add, if I had some dude with no face persuading me to kill my friends and family and I still had some sanity, I'd be pretty pissed as well.

Slenderman and welcome to the ark are videos that may or may not be canon. However, a new canon video has been posted a few hours back...badass and creepy,

 		A couple things that came to mind on a rewatch of "Ashen Waste":

- Evan indeed says "shoulda had my knife". Would it have done him any good? I think by now we know that Slendy isn't impressed by violence.

- Evan also starts coughing inside the building, presumably while Slendy is outside watching his favorite exercise crew. Was Evan coughing because of all the dust in the trashed building, or is he developing a sensitivity to Slendy's presence- one he could manipulate as an attack when Evan went after him? It does look like Evan got halfway into his swing and then staggered before the video cut out.

lost: The two videos you're referring to were posted outside the official Everyman Hybrid channel, apparently as entries to a video contest. Their canonicity is still up in the air at this point.

Yep. Also just wanted to comment... when he drags the bat along the rail, that was QUITE unnerving.

I can't wait to see what's at the coordinates. I really hope it's another box.

on another note, I finally watched the other 2 videos. Besides Evan reminding me of James Franco for some bizarre reason when he has the conversation in Slender man, I can see a little more plausibility in WttA with the new video.

You're right, I'd forgotten about that. And that was after the real-deal Slendy had started showing up, right? Could Evan have already been primed for being affected by Slenderadiation?

Was what a Spider-Man reference? There's just something about the way he was talking/acting and his facial expressions in that scene that reminded me of James Franco. I honestly have no idea why though.

Well, I mean...at the end of Spider-Man 2, he was talking to his dead father. I kinda meant along those lines, haha.
