Whatever caused them to lose time while driving to the hospital is the same thing that makes them forget what's going on in Welcome To The Ark.

I'm actually not certain that WttA is set in an alternate dimension or anything, I think their loss of time is making them think that it's been eleven o clock at night for three days.

Woah. Lots of things've happened since I've been here last, and nothing seems clearer.

Now I'm not sure what to think of "Slender man" or "Welcome to the ARK" as far as their place in all of this is. When the crew's in the car during "Ashen Waste," it's pretty clear they're meant to be in the ARK's realm we see in the two leaked videos -- time stopped, darkness, rain, teleported to what might either be their house or the ARK we see in "Welcome to the ARK."

(aside: the beach in "78of76.avi" might've also been, I'm thinking, in the realm of the ARK.)

These videos really make me wonder what the nature of the ARK-realm is.

In "Welcome to the ARK," we're given a few bits of information about the place that you might've missed. They have an internet connection, and they never mention their being in a world other than our own. Which means:

-They may be able to update from the ARK-realm.
-They are presumably still in their own neighborhood / house (albeit not on our plane of reality) when in the realm, which facilitates their clothes-changing and videogame-playing (). Either this is happening, or something else even weirder is*.

And the fact that they were playing games is indicative of at least some sources of electricity. Some sources apparently won't work, though, as in "Welcome" Jeff's laptop runs out of juice without them having just plugged it in.

Speaking of juice, I'm running out here, so I'll try to end my thoughts.
*The crew's twitter mentions them patching Evan up at the hospital, so they might not be "stuck" in the ARK all the time.. it's odd to contemplate what's going on here or how it's possible.

I'm fairly certain that the Slenderman and WTTA videos are canon. Why would the creators of EMH make these videos in the first place with the same characters and very similar setting, knowing all to well that the community would stumble across them and interpret them as canon in relation to the other videos (such as our most recent video)?

Although I think someone mentioned that "Slenderman" was an entry for a contest or something, which seems to be a reasonable guess but again a silly move to use the same characters and setting of EHM. I'm still confused as to why only WTTA was taken down and not "Slenderman".

Anyway, my guess for now is that WTTA takes place during the gap between hitting slenderman with the car and waking up in the basement. Not sure about "Slenderman" though.

...I've got a couple of theories growing now, but frankly, I won't bore you all. But I'm thinking, with this emphasis on dreams and lack of sleep that emerged earlier in the series...I'm thinking it might be foreshadowing of the nightmares that we seem to be seeing now, with Slendy's...Hotel California, if you will. I swear, there must be something in those videos which I'm missing.

I suppose we should just wait for our intrepid explorer who's going to the coordinates. I await this eagerly, and without any debate as to whether or not SM and WttA are canon. It's safer that way.

Anyone think it's about time for an update from the home front? Alex has been quiet for a while, I thought he was filming himself sleep.

I've still got another couple of pages to catch up on so I dunno if this has been mentioned yet. At 1.08? 1.09? There's a brief flash of a twilight sky. Not the night scene they're in. Looks like the same stretch of road but there's nothing there, no Slendy at least.....looking a 2nd time there might be something there. Anyways, here it is.

Can I just say... OMGWTF?! I got the Tweets while at a Halloween party, and the second they started coming in, I wanted to get home to see what was up. I'm glad I decided to sleep first, though; I would've been up all friggin' night if I'd seen it before bed.

Poor Evan... Blood coming out the mouth... that's like, internal bleeding shit. How the hell is he okay?

I think we'll find out what happens next once our marvelous explorer gets to those coordinates. =D
Which I hope happens sooner than Friday, 'cause I'm impatient.
