Totally random, but it's been bugging me for a week: does anybody know what happened to Daniel, the fake Slendy from the earliest videos?
I can't remember if the guys ever talked about him in the ustreams or videos after "Healthy Eating". I doubt it's a big deal or even important, I'm just curious.

He hasn't really been talked about. I'm assuming the crew would tell us if a friend has gone missing, especially at this point, when Jessa's been gone for a while and it looks like Vince might be accepting the idea of Slender Man.

I guess only the hosts of the show (the people who had the most time on camera) would be targeted at first. But it seems like there's something more at work than just "Slenderman is targeting the people who made light of him in a video series" considering Dr. Corenthal and the fire at Jeff's school. So Daniel might not actually be connected to whatever it is that's happening.

Okay so, I have a few theories...

One: It was already mentioned (albeit kinda vaguely) by someone probably 8 pages back, but...what if the person they hit with their car was Jessa? We all know that Slendy is known/rumored to have some ability of transportation, right? So who's to say he didn't teleport Jessa in front of him (provided she wasn't already nearby) to use as a shield. Do we know if the guys can clearly remember seeing Slendy get hit?

Two: About that Daniel guy...have they even mentioned him since...what, Entry 6? Maybe they've completely forgotten about him. They've already lost a lot of time, from the looks of it, and seem to have forgotten a lot of things that may or may not have happened, so maybe Daniel is already gone, and they've all forgotten his existence.


On a completely different topic...I totally wanna be part of Team Evan/Knife/I Wanna Kill It.

I'm sure "You will never find me" made more sense in context, but watching it on its own was like a bad acid trip. I have no idea what I just saw.

Just going to post my own little theory here: I don't think that the dead girl was Linnie. That letter was TO somebody. I think the dead girl is whoever that letter was for. Maybe Linnie didn't come back and she went to go find her. And maybe we might be able to see Linnie later on, or whatever else she might have left behind.

Something I just noticed that has no bearing on the plot, but is interesting thematically: in the very first entry (the intro video) at 1:14, the lake is flooded. You can see the trees and the gazebo and the trees rising out of the water. I think the only other time floods have been referenced by the EMH trio were on their twitpic.
