I went back to watch .- to see what Corenthal's wife has to say, and I realized that clips of the Animal Collective song "Who Could Win A Rabbit" has been in every one of the . and - named videos. In light of the connections between "habit" and "rabbit" (the 'hearing rabbit or habit' line from Corenthal's letter, Damsel's use of the word 'rabbit' in response to the line about living being a 'habit'), it makes for an interesting tidbit.

Once again the boys prove a couple of things: The music is important in all these videos, and they have a deeper plan for this than we sometimes realize. Nice find!

He called a USB stick "one of those microchip things" in "Jeff". I'm sure there's other examples, but that's the first one that comes to mind for me.

It's been mentioned before that he rarely if ever goes on the Internet.

I'm having a hard time believing that Evan is really a time-traveler...it's obvious he's adept with "some" technology, at least, video games...(Bioshock shirt, playing Red Dead Redemption in the The Slender Man video, holding the 360 controller in the box's "Joker Evan" photo...

beyond that, let's not forget his love of all things current pop-culture such as his Death Proof hat, which is the first thing that comes to mind, among other things--didn't he mention liking Slayer? That's like, definitely '80s...I mean, obviously he's a bit of a junkie when it comes to that stuff (aren't we all? Smile ) so I think I'm more in the "possession" camp....so far, anyway.

So is the letter more likely to be REDACTED [comma] Evan, like "Doe, John" or is it just REDACTED Evan... making Evan his last name? I have plenty of friends who are known in our circles by their last names. Could the patient be Evan's father?

I dunno, dude. Every time I try to get a handle on the characters in general, something else fucks with the fabric of nature. At this rate, I'll believe that Vinnie is working with Slender Man to lead Jeff, Evan and Damsel into a trap to kill them and Jessa.

...You know, that may actually explain his calmness during all this...DEAR GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

This was my first thought on reading the letter. But seeing as how we haven't been given the guys' last names IG, I'm not sure how much it'll help us figure out if it's referring to our Evan or not. =/

Looks like someone else likes my theory:

@EverymanHYBRID Odd question, but what are you guys' last names?

I would have phrased it differently, but hey, whatever works.

This is a few pages back, but looking over the letter it seems like it's just another typo/mistake, possibly brought on by the doctor's lack of sleep. The "d" is very near the "r" key, I think it's probably meant to say "dear colleague".

Are any of the other mistakes significant at all?

EDIT: That new tweet. Uhh. ohgod

They must've deleted it DAMN fast, 'cause it took me all of five seconds to check their Twitter page, since I was already planted in front of my computer.

I almost peed myself for a second there. D=

Shit. I just got that text while I was in a parking garage. Needless to say, I booked it out of there.

Me too, I was in the kitchen at the time but I'm not seeing it on their Twitter either. I definitely got it on my phone though. Creepy.

Shit just got real, yo!

So, do we know ANYTHING about Evan's parents? I can't remember if anyone has mentioned the name Habit around him. if they have, whats the reaction?

I don't know If I'm buying this whole time travel thing, because it says in the letter he was very young. That would mean he couldn't go back in any future episodes, it would have had to have been when he was a child in, say the 80s or 90s OR a time jump FORWARD.

Certain mental conditions are genetic though, so it's possible it is a relative of his, as someone mentioned. I think (since I'm assuming the name was simply reversed in the beginning of the letter, as in: Pitt, Brad for example) that naming your kid after a crazy person probably isn't the first choice for most mother's though.

ALSO, jumping on the bandwagon, that Habit=Rake.
