So, just quickly going back to the guys themselves.....has anyone ever asked them how they met? How long they've known each other? Granted I could ask Alex but he doesn't seem himself at all tbh. Not spoken to him for a while either. More than likely just busy as he said though so I'm not going to push him by constantly messaging him.

Okay, first of all, I'm pretty positive that the person who walks into the Ashen Waste video at the very end is ALEX. NOT JEFF.

If you look closely, Vince says Jeff's name and peks with the camera under the coffee table or whatever that is. For a split second, you can see Jeff's hair and when the camera pans to face the person walking in, you can see Jeff's legs on the couch.

So, the person who walked into the room is Alex. I'm assuming the camera distorted when looking at him because the stain of the Rake's presence is upon him. =)

I would take pics to show you guys but I'm not on my home computer at the moment.

Does anyone know of a better link to the "WttA" vid than the megavideo one? That one doesn't work for me (requires me to sign up for some weird something or other) and it's getting to the point where I'd like to see the vid and make judgments for myself.

Random theory about Habit/The Rake: (warning: wall o' text ahead)

So we've all seen the Habit Is The Rake theory that's been floating around. Like a lot of other people, I find it very compelling. That being said, I've got some thoughts about his beginnings. What if Habit is someone who was stalked as a child by Slendy/had his family killed by Slendy? And it doing so, it drove him pretty crazy (a la masky). So basically, the Rake is being stalked by Slendy too. That also explains why the children's hospital burned down: think of Jay's apartment in MH or the library in the original Slender Man myth. Fires follow Slendy, and they especially follow his victims. Habit being stalked as a child also fits in to the whole idea that Slender Man targets primarily children - another nugget from the original myth.

They did say in the letter that Habit kept a photo journal. I'd be shocked if that journal didn't show up in a future box, and if Slendy wasn't in the background of at least some of those photos.

That was the decently-thought-out part of my theory. I have a lot of other ideas that have sprung off of that, most of which are a lot less coherent:

-Corenthal went crazy because once he started working with Habit (a Slendervictim), he started getting stalked himself (just like, again going back to MH, how Jay started getting drawn in to shit when he started investigating Alex).

-Assuming that there is some kind of connection between Evan and Habit, the Hybrids (and Evan in particular - and as has been pointed out before, Slendy seems to be targeting Evan) are being stalked because of their connection to a prior victim.

Again, these are just sort of half-baked ideas that I've been chewing over, but I'd be interesting in hearing what people think of them.

Now, what would be amazing would be if the EMH crew wouldn't put the photos in a box - but the negatives. Somebody would have go to develop them, and 24 hours later go all OH HOLY SHIT!! (with the guy who developed the photos potentially going all "Umh, guys, I saw some freaky stuff, but this...")
