 		Okay, now the question is, why isn't my name up on the Recipe1 page? I definitely got a personal chat with Melissa, but no recognition here... Maybe a hidden page?

 		my personal theory is that they didn't get our phone numbers right, and they were worried about having one of so few being a dead end.

I was so busy feeling sorry for myself I forgot something else.

There was something else odd. The first phone that rang was silent when I picked uo the phone. I pressed the hookswitch, and it was silent. I pressed it again and I heard the ilovebeesilovebees loop with melissa in the background saying something like "your chatter IMEDIATELY" it happened again on the 2d call. then melissa was on the third call. neither of the first two went hot.

Maybe this is important?

Hey I hit the 14:11 and 14:29 axons, both in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Its nice when they put them so close together that I can hit them both in one lunch hour.

I was so looking forward to being Ensign Cheebers too... no live Melissa for me Confused But I guess Ensign was almost/already taken by Dragonrider anyhow.

I think that's a good theory. Whatever all you "chosen" have to do, the PMs probably want to have back-up people, just in case someone can't be reached, is on vacation or something.

But then again, what do I know? I'm just a lowly player. No rank for me. Very Happy

I don't know why a ship couldn't have two ensigns. In fact, I don't know why any ship WOULDN'T. I mean, we've already got at least two Leutenants, Lts Adam and Weephun.

(This is the most screwed up ship in history, what with names like XNbomb, Dragonrider, Weephun and Mike Was for examples)

Also, anyone who is an "officer" now, please check out my post here.

 		And of course, I go to answer my axon, and I'm all like "Hit axon, go home, eat pizza."

And I pick up the phone and there's no one there. I mean, it RANG, and no one was there. So I hit the handle again, and still silence... and so it begins:

Del: Hello? Melissa?
Operator: "Hush. I love bees... I love bees... I love bees..."
*Insert normal bee message here...*
Operator: What is my favorite game?
Del: Hide and seek.
Operator: Very good. I have something important to tell you. But I don't really know if you're a real person.... maybe you're a recording.
Del: *Starts to catch on that this possibly isn't a recording*
Operator: I need you to do something for me.
Del: What do you want me to do?
Operator: Silence! I ASK THE QUESTIONS HERE!
Del: Sorry! Sorry Melissa!
Operator: *Says something EXACTLY as I apologized.*
*Silence*
Operator: Take inititaive.
Del: Yes ma'am. *Waits*
Operator: I find your silence to be unnerving...
Del: Sorry...
Operator: I'm disconnecting.

Okay, official suckage today.
I went to this location in Redmond, WA
18:25 PDT
47.680946 -122.125330

I've gotten this location on day 1 every week so far. It's been the same phone every time. Today the phone DID NOT RING. Total silence at the proper time. What's up with that? Anybody else experience anything like this? This is very disheartening, as I was all prepped for a live conversation. Perhaps the real Melissa misdialed today? I will try one more time tomorrow... but this kinda sucks.
