missingmanuscript.com - jim reeds from http://www.missingmanuscript.com/page6.html

In 1998, I was employed by Bell Labs in Florham Park, N.J and was temporarily assigned to Dr. Jim Reeds, while he was working to decipher the third book of the Steganographia.
a cluesearch on "jim reeds" shows that jim reeds of bell labs is apparently a real person involved with the voynich manuscript, and has a directory of related documents mirrored here: http://www.dcc.unicamp.br/~stolfi/voynich/mirror/reeds/

Sorry, but the mention of page 6 is at the top of this thread...
Let us know how the mail goes. A few of us have sent messages too...

FYI: Jim Reeds is the (third) person who discovered the secret messages in the third book of the Steganographia (96?). Two others before him discovered the messages, one in either the 16th or 17th centuries, and subsequetly enciphered HIS info about it. The other was a german scientest in the early 90's, but it didn't get much publicity.
I'm just reciting this from memory, so some of the dates may be a little off.

Info: Some of the symbols?` From: MaggieMae@collectivedetective
I was peeking around this site:
http://www.baconbooks.net/Selenus/slatin/selenus.html
and noticed that on page 265 are some of the symbols on the manuscript.
Perhaps someone else will be able to make heads or tails of it!

From vikiyak@collectivedetective
You can access the "Fourth Book" and in particular, the pages revealed to you found on the "missingmanuscript.com" that you were given in your reply at http://www.baconbooks.net/Selenus/slatin/selenus.html
When you go to this site you will have a side window that lists with "aa" and so on and then lists each book and page.
The first manuscript page shown to you is found in Book 3, page 35. And the blurred symbol may be one of the symbols shown at the bottom of some of the manuscript pages. Try the symbol shown at the bottom of the page when you select "az".
Happy hunting

That has a basic structure that's similar, but isn't it very different?

There is a book, by Lewellyn I believe, that has all themagical alphabets, symbols, glyphs etc. My books are in storage, so I don't have access to it right now. Does anyone else have it or to a new age bookstore that may have it?
