what about the blood Evan spuked up after attacking slendy. I'd see that as malicious.


Plus what about the bags with blood n guts in them? they appeared directly after slnedy, before we had any mention of the rake or really any (known) hints of the rake. those bags aren't very, uh, nice or benevolent, right? unless slendy is like a cat and just wanted to leave the guys presents, i.e. dead things?

 		So....Ive been up for just about (in like 10 minutes or so ) 24 hours because I dont want to go to sleep and miss something xD But I did have a point to posting.

Has any one seen/read the movie/book "Pontypool"? I haven't read the book but my mom reminded me of the movie when she compared the "HABIT" text from today to the movie and how they repeat things.
This seems weird but could the repeating of the word be a clue? Like a symptom of being Hollowed/turned to a rake? Or that there stuck in the Ark?

Sorry if this makes no sense like I said Ive been up for almost a day xD

Perhaps someone here is capable of discerning them.

The plurality is relevant as well.

nah man, Slender Man is malicious, or else it would completely ruin the slender man mythology, slender man from his beginning has always been a killer. And with MH we also learned that he likes to make people go insane, which he is also doing in this series.

The burned out wreck is merely a trap, like the last one. They garner nothing from them, only slip further into his grasp.

The scraps we have lead only to pointless conjecture. There is a speck of reality somewhere in this mess, some connection we, the hybrids, the others... have yet to uncover.


We should return to the beginning, and retrace all the steps. To do it with any accuracy, though, information must be gleaned from those were there at the real beginning.



TL:DR : They are hanging by threads. We need to arm them with something tangible, before tossing them back into the slenderman's womb.

I remember trying to make sense of this when the video first came out. It was a pain because the camera doesn't pan over to let you see the ends of the lines, and it's also not the best quality.

As far as I could tell, the writing in the journal includes: She runs into (illegible - possibly the number 1000) fingers, walks back

And there is a phrase near the end that looks like "whole life (possibly "with") laughter". I'm going to take another look, though, because I'm sure I could do better at deciphering it.

edit: Also I could be completely wrong. I don't trust myself to make sense of the blurry handwriting very well, haha.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. Slender Man's never been one for sunshines and bullwinkles. He stalks, he stabs, he kills(maybe), and that's rather consistent for most of the major blogs.

Love a lot of the ideas that have been thrown around today. Slendy and the Rake being aspects of a single entity is awesome, as is the "cardinal directions" theory.

The deleted tweet in which Habit refers to itself in plural is interesting; that's the sort of thing you usually only see from royalty, gods, and the occasional demon. (That trope namer was Legion, presumably a plural entity, but maybe it's become genericized.) I could buy Habit being a demon that possessed Habit Evan and is now trying to take over Hybrid Evan; maybe "the feral Other" is it's material form? Recreating the crucifixion with bunnies is certainly the sort of thing a (particularly campy) demon might do.

Interesting that things seem to be ramping up as if we're approaching endgame, but the numeration on the boxes suggests we're not quite halfway finished. Wonder what else they have in store?

I'm going to make a distinction between malicious intent, and punishment.
He could be there to punish those who have done horrible things. Not cause he's on the side of good...but more like in Ghost when the bad guy died, and was taken by the screaming hands.

We don't know that Slendy made those bags and left them there. It fits the mythos---but who sent them the pictures of it that Vince talks about at the start of that video?
We didn't SEE what happened to Evan when he attacked, we only saw the aftermath. For all we know he swung, and was repelled by Slendy's innate Slendyness. Guess I'm just spitballing and over thinking like I joked about before---but yeah. Certain things don't make sense.

I still don't understand why the encounter in the forest with the bags of blood caused Jeff to suddenly remember things about his school fire and go off on his own. What was it about that encounter that caused that reaction in him?

It's all so confusing! Smile I love it. This has filled the void that Lost left for speculation and theorizing. And we still haven't heard from Damsel, or had anything of note happen with Alex for awhile. And there are 4 boxes left!

 		The journal is from the ".-" video; the one Evan is looking through in one of the clips. The only thing I can make out for certain is the big, underlined word at the very top of the page - it says "Slender".

It's hard to read anything in the paragraph that follows, though.

Anything can trigger a memory. When it comes to past trauma a persons mind can block it out until the memory is triggered by something. It can be small or it can be epic. I think the bags of blood/dead animals made Jeff think back to the fire somehow, I'm just not sure how.
