Yeah, good find. But it never fails that the MH guys and the interviewers always mention EMH but never TT. Confused

I think that's more reflective of the natures of those two side-stories in general than of the Marble Hornets guys. TT has managed to make itself not as horrendus as it started out being, but EMH is truly engaging and interesting. Of the two, I'm not at all surprised the MH guys are pointing people in the direction of EMH!

I still think it should be mentioned, considering it has over 1700 subscribers and is part of the big three Slendy vlogs. Just sayin.

I don't think Troy and Joseph are obliged to mention any of the blogs, large readerships or not! I think it's cool that they think any of the side-stories are worth mention at all.

Anyways, popularity is never a good measure of quality. Just look at Twilight.

Oh, burn!

Reading through that interview, I got the feeling that Troy was being more evasive than in the radio interview a little earlier. (Having read the rest of the magazine, I suppose that I can see why: MH doesn't really seem to fit in with the other articles very well; it's kind of an outlier.) Seemed like he was kind of blasé about the whole thing. "Yes. We're working on Part II. No, I'm not giving info about it. No, it's not tied to the other Slender Man content that's sprung up in the meantime. Oh, you want something to watch in the meantime... uh, EMH is good? K bye." Most of the questions were very similar to the ones that were answered in the radio interview and the big old post at the end of Part I on SA, in any case.

It is nice that they're so adamant that they'll be bringing more content to us... and that they're happy that we're staying interested, though I'm not sure how you could get more answers out of them in an interview format without being either really sneaky or them being really willing to spill the beans!

Yeah I noticed that too. The 10 page story about a whore fucking people was kind of, uh, unexpected. I took the comment that the author had to harass Troy a lot to get him to give an interview pretty literally, based on the content of the magazine.

Alternately (and this is serious tin foil hat territory, I don't give it much credit), they've always been really evasive about season 2 and any possible DVD release. Someone in the Something Awful thread pointed out The Tall Man, a familiar-sounding feature film set for release next year. There's some completely unfounded speculation that Troy and Joseph are related in some way (if only "hey here's $5000, don't put out a DVD or step on the toes of our plot") and that's why they are unwilling to talk about the future AT ALL.

I think they just enjoy being mysterious, but it's a theory.
