The thought if this is the greatest ARG of all time just crossed my mind... hmmmmmmmm...

It's still only barely an ARG, I mean has anything the audience did actually influenced what the story? They did go to Brooklyn after we tweeted about the warehouse, but it's unclear if they would have eventually just gone there anyway if we were too dumb Smile

I'm also being pedantic. I wouldn't say it's the world's best ARG, but it's a very, very good story that makes use of a variety of media. I think unfiction calls these "chaotic fiction"?

From an article on involuntary commitment in New Jersey:

Quote:
First, when a person is involuntarily committed to treatment and assigned to an outpatient treatment provider or short-term care facility, or a psychiatric facility or special psychiatric hospital, he or she is supposed to receive a court hearing as to the issue of a continued need for treatment within 20 days from the initial entry.

FWIW, my mom's a psych nurse in Alabama and says it's the same time period there. Sounds like it might be pretty standard across the US.

This may be a bit off topic, but I feel like there should be a subtopic to EMH that states "All roads lead to Slender Man" or something along those lines

We'll have a full Broadway musical for EMH by the end of this. We have Fresh Prince, we have Pinky and the Brain, we have... all the music.

He's climbin' in yo' window, snatchin' yo' people up...

Doesn't need many lyrics to be rewritten at all!

...Could the Bed Intruder secretly be Slendy? Did the EMH team plant that video?!

Shocked

Is the pie wearing a business suit? Because that is one freaky pie.

I also thought of y'all when I realized my parents have a seven-foot-tall skeleton in a Slender-esque business suit in their living room. It's a little distressing, playing this game.

This was my status on facebook the other night:
"Well, obviously we have a Slender Man in the neighborhood, he's climbin' in your windows, snatchin' erbody up so you gotta hide your kids, hide your $20, and start filmin' for he gets erbody out there.
He dont have to come and confess, we runnin from him he gunna find you, he gunna find you!" Not very good but it made me laugh.

That skeleton looks a lot like my brother in law.....just with more meat on his bones.
Seriously, my brother in law is about 7ft, skinny as a rake...a rake, not THE rake and I've been trying to persuade him to dress as slendy this halloween.
Alas the pie didn't have a tie........it was tasty though, bought a tear to my eye......s. Very Happy

@RavanJedi, is it possible that you live in the greatest house EVAR? I mean seriously, giant skeletons in business suits, artoo detoo, broomsticks and Evil Dead/Creature Feature posters.
I'm jealous.
