I have a question for you all... I am not certain I am seeing this correctly, but perhaps?

The picture at the bottom, on top of the slender picture... It looks like a bed to me, as if someone is laying at it. There is a small dog like shadow in the upper right hand. A door is on the far left.

If you watch the video, 'JEFF', (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y71cLFDKisE) does it look like... his room?

Not to mention the obvious creepiness at 37 seconds, we can talk about that later.

Going back to what the good doctor Jowles was saying earlier about the ARG elements, how much room do you think there is for spontaneity? Seems like they have everything pretty well-thought-out at this point, but I guess we could experiment and see if we can get them to do something about Damsel (unless, of course, they were planning to do that anyway).

The fact that there's still the post-queue, though, makes me think we have to wait for certain events to trigger it...

Exactly, if we're lucky we might Actually influence the story.

That and that post que thing is starting to get annoying. Either it was set waaaay to long, or we have to trigger a response. And what the hell could we do to trigger a response. (The fact she knew she'd be held for this long is a bit odd)

So lets see if they'll #savethedamsel

Good eye. I see just about every except the dog (I just see a creepy shadow) and the person in bed. I think it was just to be unmade or messy.

So I have a couple of hectic days at work, and have to ignore the thread. I come back a few days latter and I see that you guys wrote something like thirty pages of awesome. Wow.

I wanted to comment on the whole "is Slendy evil" question. I always interpreted the Slender Man as being neither good nor evil. He is so alien is his thought patterns that his behavior simply cannot be categorized in such a simple and human-centric way.

It is not inconceivable that everything he does, the stalking, general creepiness and the occasional disemboweling is only his way of communicating.

**HEAD EXPLODES**

Yeah...that was freakin hilarious!

Edit: fixed "head explodes" somehow messed it up on first attempt

The entrails in the garbage bags must mean "I want to take you guys out for a drink!"

In seriousness, though, I don't even know if the Slender Man even has thought patterns. I've always thought of it as more of just a basic instinct thing. I don't even know if we could even call him sentient, necessarily.

I believe it's just some V8, after all Sledy was trying to stay fit.

I know someone else already said they live close by, but I figured I should let you all know. I live about 4 hours away from Alliance, Ohio, which is where the Fairmount Home is, so if anything ever does turn up there I may be able to go pick it up. =)

Also, 300+ pages, I think we should start another EMH thread. O_o This is getting too big to handle!

So, is he even sentient at all? Well, if we are thinking of the coin theory, if the Rake is not at all 'intelligent' would this not mean that Slendy was? I believe someone called slender justice, and said he was 'calculating', where as Rake was vengance, and 'had little forethought'? One of the things that I thought really conrasted the EMH slendy with the MH slendy was the sometimes subtle differences in behaviour. Like, in MH the slenderman would look in the windows and find a way in to the house, presumably to mess with Alex. This slenderman was in Evan's house, and stood in the doorway 'taunting' them. I'm sure I could think on this more, but the feeling I get from this slendy implies some sort of intelligence to me. Maybe not complex thought. Maybe nothing beyond the want to toy with victims, etc., but, still some sort of brain process.
Then again if slendy is so alien to us then i must be hella wrong. But regaurdless, I don't know that it matters to the game all that much right now.

Yes, but they require you have a basic understanding, something I do not possess.

The names of three of the odder videos within their youtube are as follows...

. . .
- - -
. -

Dots and dashes, a la morse code.

If this goes anywhere, credit to HarleyQuinn... the name of the picture of the journal caught my eye, and then I remembered the videos names.
