This series has definitely improved since when it first started. The end was genuinely unsettling, although I wouldn't yet call it scary.

With the camera angle there at the end, I knew something would happen with one of the doors, but after the weird phone noises it was still a little creepy. Might go back and check this one out from the beginning.

I really wish he hadn't ~~ripped off~~ the Rake from EMH.

And the noise file at the end...sorry, couldn't stop laughing, but I don't think it's Ryan's fault. He's too young to know that getting a phone call with nothing but heavy breathing and moaning was, when his parents were kids, both a disturbing way pervs got their jollies and a staple of comedy routines.

I'm glad to see this being updated, I always thought it was good. And Im glad to see he's worked on his editing and effects as well.

I just hope (like many do) that he doesnt rip off the rake, I see that as strictly an EMH thing.

But the sound file was really creepy.

I just read through this blog and found it quite chilling and it took a very different, almost hostile, approach to the whole mythos. The totheark-like character in this blog was really freaky-sounding, too.

Now, I did find something odd about one of the photos Ryan posted from the USB. The tree picture? I'm into a lot of Norse mythology and immediately saw a resemblance to Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life. I'll show you the resemblance:

You're welcome to Google more images of Yggdrasil. Anyway, if the Slender Man left a picture of a Yggdrasil-like tree for Ryan, is there a correlation? Could this Slender Man be a manifestation of some dark deity?

I doubt it has anything to do with EMH's SOA morse code, but i could be wrong. prob just a weird coincidence. SOAD stands for System Of A Down, im actually a huge fan myself, that post actually reminded me that Serj's new album is out lol.
