I'm not sure it can be helped. MarbleHornets and ToTheArk have basically codified the Slender Man trope of "Character Gone Insane Antagonist". So, even if the comparisons and roles are only minorly similar, you're still going to see, "Oh, he's going insane! He's going to be [XXXX series]'s ToTheArk!" Kind of sad, but that's sort of what happens when you get something as pervading and memetic as MH.

Also, Wikia has become infinitely more un-intuitive and difficult to work with since their facelift. X_x

I think they're referring to rodent annihilation. They're planning on calling an exterminator in.

I think he means the Annihilation of the rodents in his CRAW Space.

I don't think it was the ark tbh. I think they just woke up in the basement at Jeff's or something. Someone should ask him just to clarify. But no Alex wasn't there.
